Thanks for the tip-off about contacting Customer Services at Boden re my £10 code...they've credited the amount to my account. Very, very good customer care I'll give them that!

I'm tempted by the musical Christmas Tree biscuit tin from M&S......

Whoever was looking for a goodly hamper, last year sometime in mid-late November, Waitrose had a half price deal on theirs - we got an impressive one for about £30 if I recall.

Finally marking my place in this new thread!

Hawkmoth · 02/11/2013 08:09

The Christmas tree biscuit tin is lovely. We're going to put it on our front windowsill as a no-fuss decoration! When we went, everyone had one in their trolley.

FernArable · 02/11/2013 08:20

The voucher codes for H and M in the op don't work anymore, the new code for 25% off 1 item is 0560 and £5 off first order is 1304. Not sure about free delivery though.

I bought two of the M&S musical christmas tree buscuit tins on Thursday one for us and the other for the DS to give to their Granny. They're lovely and bigger than I imagined, definately good value at £5 a pop.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 02/11/2013 08:37

joymaker- No, outstanding means it's been tracked (they know it's coming) but now we have to wait. (I may have signed a lot of people up for the Amazon one.... Grin) Some companies are really fast at paying up- Boden, Photobox (orders I placed less than a month ago are already paid) But some are dreadfully slow- can be anything up to about 8mths.

pettyprudence · 02/11/2013 08:38

Ok a mission for you bargain hunters - I have decided I would like to get my sister a leather satchel for christmas. I think I missed out on the offer someone posted before..... Ideally would like for under £50?

Thanks for the battery suggestions. Never considered Aldi and that website is so cheap!!

I've another naive questions, DD1 is showing an interesting peppa pig so I wanted to get her a wee figure as she likes happyland type things. Where would be the cheapest place to buy a figure only, not a big set?

Oreocrumbs · 02/11/2013 10:38

Morning, can you keep an eye out for Barbie deals - looking for a toy worth £25 for a bargain price Grin.

HenriettaBrain · 02/11/2013 10:53

Girl sainsburys had a pack of 2 figures in their sale, I think they were £3 something!
