So I finished the last thread. won't last though .

Got some great stuff with my Tesco vouchers the other day, when the website was eventually working. Really pleased, got about 8 things, including dd1's main gift

Have also ordered the new MN scarf. I don't need a new scarf, but I missed out on the blazer, and I feel we need some sort of uniform to belong to this thread. Grin Grin

Off to Ikea tomorrow, will finally be able to purchase my goat.Grin

WaitMonkey · 30/10/2013 09:33

Reastie, Miss I thought I'd done it at least twice before and someone comes along about two hour's latter and manages to take it to 1002 posts. Angry Grin When/If I finally manage to do finish the thread, I will no longer have my bargain thread finishing obsession. I hope.. Grin

DreamlessSleep · 30/10/2013 09:34

Thanks Reastie. Just had to reorder the scarf as I realised it hadnt finished the payment process the first time as I didnt get a confirmation email.

zipzap · 30/10/2013 09:34

One of today's deals of the day on play .com is a bundle of five of their best selling tshirts for £20 - they have some examples of them on the page. They seem pretty cool - retro space aliens, melting rubic cube, zombie stuff, funny slogans.

Would be nice if you have lots of males to buy presents for... The bundle comes with all the t shirts in the same size though.

THey seem to be having quite a big sale on there at the moment so worth perusing their deals of the day and week too.

Casaustorm · 30/10/2013 09:36

Oh yes, will have a look in the works and might try and pop into tesco for some socks!

Apologise to someone on the last thread, the £10 boden voucher does work! Sorry I thought it was if you spent over £50!

ClaimedByMe · 30/10/2013 09:36

Signing in Thanks to Reastie for keeping us going!

WaitMonkey · 30/10/2013 09:36

I've finished my dc now. I'm on the lookout for grown up presents now.

fivefoottwowitheyesofblue · 30/10/2013 09:36

Congrats Waitmonkey Grin

Would love a BHS % code if anyone knows one please. The ones in the OP have expired.

Thank you

If anyone has problems with the scarf ordering - in that the price seems to jump back up to £14.99, this happened to me too when I got interrupted when I went to find my credit card and chocolate. and more chocolate. and took more than just a few minutes. it set me up as an account holder but didn't process the order. Then the fee option had disappeared.

I was about to complain So I first checked my cookies and removed all the sainsburys and sainsburys magazine one and the david sanderson ones and was able to reorder for free again.

I also took screenshots of the pages I bought from to show that there was no mention of first one free, full price thereafter, and the order pages, to prove in case they try it on later that they let you order as many as 20 for free for one set of postage.

Casaustorm · 30/10/2013 09:41

Tried to use the iPad pics above but didn't work! Blush

zipzap · 30/10/2013 09:43

In haste as I am supposed to be going out and I'm here instead

Martin Lewis money saver email has just come through and it is talking about £8 champagne instead of £22 from sainsburys if you buy 6 bottles.

Haven't had a chance to read the rest of his newsletter but this jumped out at me and I thought the rest of this list might like it too Grin

Does anyone know if elemis is any good for people with sensitive skin? It's for my sis (i got the free elemis a few threads back). but she's allergic (gets eczema) to everything from Lush, Body shop etc. No.7 from Boots is really all she can use.

500internalerror · 30/10/2013 09:52

B&Q have all their funky welllies reduced to 7.99 instore...

EustaciaVye · 30/10/2013 09:56

Just ordered the play.com t-shirts. Looks like a good deal. Hope they aren't all naff.

ProtectiveMother · 30/10/2013 09:58

Bon giorno & thanks again Ms R

Reastie · 30/10/2013 09:58

LOL I have v sensitive skin and get dermatitis etc and I'm Ok with the elemis stuff I've had in the past not that I've had a huge amount sadly

OP posts:
FourAndDone · 30/10/2013 09:59

.

DrankSangriaInThePark · 30/10/2013 09:59

LOL- Elemis is natural stuff, essential oils etc so in theory she should be OK, only thing is it's very heavily perfumed usually. The face cream for example smells of Dior Poison Grin (which is why I sometimes buy it, even though I remain convinced it's not worth the £££s) So if she's allergic to highly perfumed stuff.......Lush is also all natural and Body Shop mostly is.... whereas N7 isn't, so I don't know really.....

TeaAndCakeOrDeath · 30/10/2013 10:00

I got a mascara, face wash and 2 lip glosses through the post, in just a padded envelope, no letter or anything to say who its from, i think its one of the magazine subscriptions, any one got an idea which one?

Reastie · 30/10/2013 10:00

FYI, re: scarf, it does say on sanisburys magazine terms and conditions they point you to before ordering one entry per person, so it may be multiples are cancelled.
