Speaking of the little people disney princess castle... Argos have 20% off it at the minute so it's currently £42.39 there. Do you think it will be cheaper anywhere else or should I get it now? I remember someone saying on this thread they got it for £25 last year so I'm scared to buy it now!! Confused

TheIggorcist · 01/11/2013 22:21

Latruca no, I have ordered from them once before, think it's a tempt-you-back sort of thing. Says one use only, but if I don't use it obviously I'll post it on here.

worriedsick100 · 01/11/2013 22:54

Sainsburys half price sale:

the large orange Octopod set is in store at £20

they also have the Rocky Matchbox speaking and moving lorry I think at £17 which is v cheap. Like this www.amazon.co.uk/Matchbox-Rocky-Robot-Interactive-Truck/dp/B002ECE58U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383346373&sr=8-1&keywords=rocky+matchbox

Luggage16 · 01/11/2013 22:57

has anyone ordered a hellofresh box with the voucher from flavourly? I'm quite tempted to order one and then cancel but wondered what others experience had been....

RatherBeOnHoliday · 01/11/2013 23:08

Got the ELC guitar for £8 reduced from £20. Thank you.

ShoopShoop · 01/11/2013 23:08

Thanks for the JoJo Maman Bebe code in the OP - just had a splurge on some of their gorgeous Breton stuff for DD. The code for £10 off a £50 spend works on already discounted stuff - but wouldn't let me have the £2 off when you buy 2 pairs of tights discount too. Clothes aren't for Christmas as she really needs some now, but they would also make great gifts

keli5325 · 01/11/2013 23:20

ive been wondering about the flavourly boxes too. Anyone know what you get or if cancelling is easy enough?

Rhinopotamus · 01/11/2013 23:23

I just used the £30 off £60 code from isme. Wanted pjs and jumpers for my 2 boys and I like the ladybird clothes. Got 2 x pjs, 2 x Christmas jumpers plus various stocking fillers (crayola stuff, planes puzzle, wooly and tig game, plants vs zombies toy).

Probably not worth £60, but pleased with it all for £30. It wouldn't let me do the 10% off code as well though.

Luggage16 · 01/11/2013 23:26

I got the flavourly box - very impressed with the bits we got but cancelled straight away. I dont think its bad value at £15 a month though if its stuff you would buy anyway. At £5 to try a box its excellent value though! We got bacon and maple syrup popcorn, red curry meal kit, sun dried tomato paste, bacon jam, posh salad dressing, small bag of olives, oaty bar, dried apple, and a box of hot choc. They sent a voucher for £25 off a hello fresh box so am tempted to give that a try too lol!

serin · 01/11/2013 23:35

Luggage16, I have used HelloFresh a few times and it is amazingly high quality produce. They use the same fish and meat suppliers as the royal family!! I have wittered on about it so much at work that lots of my colleagues use it too! It's easy to set up an account with them and easy to cancel as well. With £25 off I would say that's a bargain.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 01/11/2013 23:36

Just catching up. I go in for surgery mid November and I'm going to end up spending even more money then aren't I?!

joymaker · 01/11/2013 23:56

DrankSangria thanks for your reply Smile re TCB does the amount appear under 'outstanding' when it can be collected by us? If so mine is there. (Though it isn't for DP in his account for the book he I ordered). I can see, when I look under the payment details tab, the option for payment in amazon vouchers but can't see anywhere for me to actually tick/select this option Confused < sorry complete novice over here>

joymaker · 01/11/2013 23:58

izzy Yep Grin
Thanks All the best with the op.

BeaWheesht · 02/11/2013 00:18

Thanks to whoever posted the Barbie zip bin link, I've picked one up for dd. be aware though that it took me to your wish list (I presume it was yours) and initially ordered it to go to you and I just noticed it in time! You'd have been inundated!

BeaWheesht · 02/11/2013 00:20

Izzy - yes I'd imagine so but it's called retail therapy for a reason Wink good luck with the op

Mothercare are doing the same 20% off toys as ELC but they are also doing 15% off if you spend over £100. The codes stack automatically once your basket reaches over £100. I just got £170 of toys for £102 (as Happyland had further reductions!) - delighted!

Hope it helps someone - I think it's only for this weekend

Finlaggan · 02/11/2013 06:00

I am looking at the Happyland pirate ship for DS it's currently £28 as opposed to £35 full price. Does anyone know if it ever goes lower than that? I.e. is it ever half price as some other Happyland is?

Finlaggan · 02/11/2013 06:12

Sorry, more questions.

Can anyone recommend the best place to get decent quality but not extortionate hampers?

Would spend around £75 if it was worth it?

I seem to remember John Lewis doing half price at some point last year?

SpottyTeacakes · 02/11/2013 06:16

Mamas & papas have 20% off their Christmas bits, they do the best first Christmas baubles and personalised sacks/stockings

girlsyearapart · 02/11/2013 06:37

I have been attempting to shop online at mothercare with no success whatsoever..
Dd2 wants lots of dolly items & I had a brilliant deal where it was half price plus the 20% off & another few things.
Every time I try to pay it just sends me back to the start..

Any tips?

SpottyTeacakes · 02/11/2013 06:46

Girls try doing it over the phone maybe?

girlsyearapart · 02/11/2013 06:58

Yes that's my next move I think - cant do it at the moment tho as my phone is broken & I can only have conversations over loudspeaker... Not very secretly festive!

BushmillsandIce · 02/11/2013 07:30

Girlwith Aldi do a reasonably priced battery charger and batteries. We've always found them pretty good.

LaTrucha · 02/11/2013 07:45

Ooo cheeky Cox and Cox!

Thanks Iggi. I've just registered as a new custome, so doubt I'll be getting that.

I'm mightily peeved that Boden seem to have sent a voucher to everyone in the world but me..humph
