Also just called about the body shop stuff, the lady I spoke to said they are out if stock right now but more are coming on in the 4th of November and they'll be dispatched after that. If for any reason, its still not here in a few weeks, call again and they'll send an alternative gift...

Theimpossiblegirl · 01/11/2013 16:18

I've cancelled my magazine subscriptions and direct debits by email and with the bank. Wish me luck. :)

I haven't actually received all of the gifts/magazines yet but with the way things are going I'd rather just wash my hands of the whole thing. I can see them being a bit unhappy but at the end of the day, they offered a deal, we took it and most of us chose not to carry on with the subscription. That's just the way it goes really.

Being unhelpful and arsey isn't exactly going to encourage any of us to carry on buying from them is it?

If anyone is in the West Country I had a flyer from Boden about a clearance sale at Wincanton Racecourse in Somerset on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November.

I've heard they can be a bit of a scrum but with bargains to be had if you're a Boden fan.

angelabbie · 01/11/2013 16:34

MarshM when you ordered the Kurio and checked out did they take the £30 off on the invoice as I put mine in and although they said it would be taken of I did not see it on the checkout.

thanks

Coveredinweetabix · 01/11/2013 17:21

If anyone has a 2yo DD to buy for, then I just spotted on Amazon that the little people princess carriage is half price at £13.50. My DD would have loved that at that age.

comeandgo it looks nice, pretty big! It's a pre-Xmas gift for my mum & she'll love it!

Re:the boden warehouse clearance, I've been to a couple before. Worth checking out if you're free....but they can get a bit rough! I would only go without little ones. To be honest, I've never gone first thing & still managed to find a few bargains without the scrum!

MarshM the discount has gone through, thanks so much for letting me know about the offer what a bargain.

Dinkydoos · 01/11/2013 18:36

Don't normally post on here although am avid watcher, but saw this on hot uk deals and thought I would share.
Had these before and really great quality, it's a doodle/ drawing pad thing.

This looks like a really nice umbrella for an older girl - a nice change from character/disney ones. The pink option is £3.91, whereas the red one is £9.95:
