I really need to step away from this thread - I just had to stop myself buying the £20 lego castle set from Amazon because it was a bargain, despite the fact that I am absolutely done with shopping for DS.

But before I go, I just wanted to say thanks to Reastie for the thread and everyone else who has posted bargains, info about camel, alerted me to Tesco clubcard boost on toys etc. Between this thread, my topcashback, credit card loyalty points and nectar points I reckon I've saved at least £300 on presents and my Christmas food shop (having converted my top cashback to M&S vouchers). And thanks to doing all my shopping online, my topcashback account is already coming along nicely for next year! Not to mention all the great gift ideas I've picked up too.

Happy bargain shopping, and if I spot any I will come back to post.

EverybodyKeepCool · 01/11/2013 13:19

Amazon local has a personalised M&Ms voucher - spend £15 get £30 to spend on M&Ms. Not sure if this is a bargain but who doesn't need snowflake and merry xmas printed chocs? Can also put photos on them and they come in a range of colours (to match your decor). You could even have festive goats on them...

Commenting on your name, DT is the best doctor!

Back to the thread topic, I ended up ordering more from cosmetic fairy and the fairy10 still works on it and I was very impressed again. Very well wrapped and nice items. Nothing tester.
Got a nice smelly set for bil so that him done.

Just took delivery of Yankee candle advent calander from yankeecandle.co.uk. With it came a code for 15% off WINTER15. Plus if you sign up to the yankle candle club you get free delivery on your next order.

neddle · 01/11/2013 14:53

I got my Flavourly box today, looks good and was quite weighty.

If I ordered a £5 trial box today for 'my mum', would I get different stuff from today's box?

cat811 · 01/11/2013 15:00

For those of you still waiting for the Glamour Body Shop gift, I just rang them (as suggested by jacqueline - thanks!)
I spoke to a lovely lady who looked it up and said them seem to be out of stock - she was also concerned as she has ordered it too! Grin Maybe she's here too.....?!
She spoke to manager and said I can either accept a replacement now of a set of 3 nail varnishes (which can be posted, as they are packaged more securely than the plastic packaging a magazine comes in, which is why we couldn't have our nail freebie this month) or wait 2 weeks, and hope the Body Shop set's back in stock and has been sent -but if not, ring them and request the nail set then. So I'm going to wait, as the BS is more helpful as a gift than nail varnish...but we'll see what happens in two weeks!
Hope that helps others Smile

comeandgo · 01/11/2013 15:03

Lalou · 01/11/2013 15:17

Mini and Maxi Micro Scooters with £5 off over £25 spend using code XMNV13 ( & free delivery on all scooters). We have both mini and maxi scooters in this house, expensive but really good.

neddle · 01/11/2013 15:24

there was a deadline on the website to order and it had about 8 minutes to go. I dithered and ordered after the deadline and my box is shpwing as delivery in december.

NannyPlumForPM · 01/11/2013 15:31

I am currently on the phone to the lovely conde nast Grin I said me and my 'housemate' Blush insert dp's name ordered but still nothing.

The man has currently popped off to see what he can do! Nice folk though it seems

NannyPlumForPM · 01/11/2013 15:34

apparently the body shop sets are in stock and being sent as we speak!! But still may take 28 days...

JaquelineHyde · 01/11/2013 15:36

Hmm sounds like we are all being told completely different things about the Body Shop gift!

Lets wait and see if any of them turn up!

lazzaroo · 01/11/2013 15:43

comeandgo I haven't done it myself but the leaflet enclosed in my parcel says you just go to their webpage www.yankeecandle.co.uk

Looks to me like you just have to submit your e-mail address....

SpookyTeacakes · 01/11/2013 15:48

I've just ordered another my third Flavourly box so will let you all know if it's the same thing...

Clr2014 · 01/11/2013 15:52

I'm totally confused by the hearst email - surely if you cancel agter the first issue or so then you are still in 'the trial period' and so exempt from having to take it for a year?

Ivyfairy · 01/11/2013 15:57

Thank you Thanks

I've just signed up for the bargain Flavourly box. I may continue the subscription, and am hoping they send Christmas-themed goodies in December.
