Another year of spreadsheets and carols.
You wonderful lot you, gorn and done it again.

It's always lovely for the donator to know their parcel has arrived, so if you've had a Christmas Appeal gift this year and you'd like to use your unique MNcode to pop on this thread to say thank you, now's your chance.

We'd like to start you all off by being the first to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who's taken part. You're all brilliant!

My gift is on its way.

I preferred it when we had the real mn nickname, I stalked mine to find out what things they did,they liked etc and sent a really "personal" gift which they loved.

To XMAS20132247 oh my! I didnt realize I had been nominated twice, golly such kindness. I was having abit of a stressful day y/day trying to help my brother who has a serious heart condition, cleaning his house, putting up his decs, wrapping his Christmas presents etc. Got home to find your card and gift and just burst into tears! Thank you so very much, its strange because we have just had a new JL open up about 30 mins from here, it opened in Nov and I have been dying to go! I am hoping we have turned the corner with Harrys health, it has been a long hard battle. So thank you so much once again, I wish you the happiest of Christmas`s and a wonderful New Year. x

Thank you again! I have received another voucher and have no idea what I have done to deserve such generosity.

I'm so touched by all of this. I'm giving up work in the new year to be carer for ds1 (and ds2 has additional needs too but not to the level of ds1) and this appeal has meant we are having a real spoil this Christmas before we have to really pinch the pennies.

Thank you to my Santos's, thank you to whoever nominated me and thank you to mumsnet, particularly those on the special needs board. You have no idea how much I've relied on you and have appreciated your advice in this past year.

I may have something in my eye .

Phew! I'm so glad it arrived before Christmas!
(I meant to post it last weekend but I came down with the plague, so had to quarantine myself Xmas Sad)

It's nothing special I know but it's the things that I like, and it's also the things I would never buy for myself anymore so I doubly love it if it's bought for me.

Anyway, it's something that is impossible to share so that's the main thing! From what the email told me you've had a really tough time this year so time to do something just for you.

As DS would say 'happy merry Christmas ho ho' Xmas Grin

Thanks so much firstly to whoever nominated me. I was both delighted and touched that someone would think of me. A huge thank for the present. It is the first Christmas present I've received for more than 20 years. I think it is probably more like 25 years and I was beside myself with excitement when it arrived. Much to my family's irritation, I'm not opening it until Christmas day. It will be such a novelty to have something to open myself for once! I really am so incredibly grateful.Tthis means so much to me. I'll get back to you once I've opened it...but for now thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas.

They were very excited to see that all the hours spent mumsnetting by me could reap a reward for them Grin It really is appreciated by us all. I've had a tough week at work this week and looking forward to the parcel has really cheered me up. It was the perfect day for it to arrive.
