I've just ordered the first 24 (of maybe 100 I have planned) baubles and have got quite nicey ones.

Theme wise I'm going traditional coca cola advert red white and gold...

So ramblings aside, would I be a wanker to get as much tinsel (and possibly shiny glittery beads on a string) from poundland??

Should I invest more to make it perfect for DD?

DD chose some very gaudy fetching pink and purple tat for our tree last year from Wilkos. It looked like a Barbie doll had puked on it. And really, isn't that the true meaning of Christmas?

I hate tinsel and will not have it in the house. But I would certainly buy cheap baubles (and lots of them). And I think children really do appreciate decorations.

We have moved house since we bought our baubles and the colours do not match our new sitting room. It has been troubling me whether I need to update. Wish i had just got gold or silver. Will probably stick with my reds and blues though.
