We finally have snow! Only a dusting but it's better than nothing.

I haven't done anything Christmassy as sob, my maternity leave is over and I have returned to work Hmm.

I have now planned what the dcs are getting for Xmas this year so now need to keep an eye out for any offers. I am not going to go so over board this year - well that's the plan anyway!

I have the song "3 2 1 Contact" in my head for later this week Grin (it used to be the theme tune for a science programme for kids).

I need to send an email today to book the house we're staying in this Christmas.

Otherwise, I have no thinking done yet (I have rolled over my spreadsheet but done nothing with it in terms of planning yet). I must start my crafting list, and re-do the list of things I have in the "emergency and regifting pressies" box. (And bring home the 3 rolls of wrapping paper propped against the wall of my office!).

I was done out of pre Christmas because of sickness bug and Christmas itself I'd just a blur so every now and then I suddenly feel very festive and just ho with the glow humming carols and I have bought quite a few things for this Christmas as I am determined not to be ill the fact I am lying in bed watching it snow and that is what made me come on a Christmas thread

In the absence of snow here (yes just torrents of rain too)
I was idly perusing QVC website and I saw a burgandy 7 gold tree skirt in Clearance.
I've got a dark red and gold pelmet thing for the fireplace so it'll go nicely.

Started early this year with the buying.But I'm telling myself if I don't buy it now, I'll miss it.Wink
