notso · 08/11/2012 16:50

I have another grinch here, he was Hmm when all DS2's happyland fell out the wardrobe the other night. I quickly told him to ignore the prices on the boxes it was all half price or less!

Off tangent slightly but check out morrisons at the moment. Spend £40 or more once a week and you get a voucher. Then you can swap 6 vouchers for £25 off your shopping! Plus if you've spent over £60 you get 15p a litre off your fuel. Worth buying at least part of your weekly shop there Grin

Dynababy · 08/11/2012 18:49

.

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 08/11/2012 18:53

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Tesco have medium selection boxes, buy 1 get 2 free until Saturday! So they are the equivalent of £1 each.

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 08/11/2012 18:54

Should've said the selection boxes are Cadburys.

Oodthunkit · 08/11/2012 18:57

Selection boxes aren't on offer in my tesco, went yesterday :(

platespinnermum · 08/11/2012 19:26

Anyone seen any good deals on Scalextric sets?

WannaSplitAPineapple · 08/11/2012 19:26

oreo thanks for looking. I will hold out and see if a code appears in the next few weeks. I hope Santa brings you lots of a good present to reward you.

I wonder if shortie got her castle from mothercare.

If you register with mamas and papas they send you an email for a £5 voucher. You have to spend over £10 but I've just got a passport cover for £8 instead of £13 plus you get free delivery to store.

I can't remember who asked but I was in primark today and they did have adult Xmas bedding. I don't think DH would have been impressed if I got it so I settled for an Xmas throw instead.

Tuttutitlookslikerain · 08/11/2012 19:27

Ood, I think it is today, tomorrow and Saturday. I noticed it when I did my online shop, so I ordered 6 as it is a really cheap way of getting chocolate! Blush

izzywizzyisbizzy · 08/11/2012 19:29

groupon have star wars scalectrix today - dont know if its a good deal, but it is certainly different

platespinnermum · 08/11/2012 19:33

Just seen on Argos' facebook page that 3 for 2 on toys is back - tomorrow until end of next Tuesday, in store only but you can reserve & collect.

rhondajean · 08/11/2012 19:35

Ha! I said on another thread it was coming back and then other people piled on to say no it wasn't (Argos 3 for 2).

MistressIggi · 08/11/2012 19:39

Wannasplitapineapple - that was me, asking about duvets. As it happens I was near Primark today so went in to see - could see no Xmas duvets at all, maybe they were located somewhere else but I was in such a bad mood by then (had pram, ridiculous store plan and lifts miles away) that I just went home.
I find myself agreeing with the poster who wondered if the bargains were saving her money, or encouraging her to spend more! (Have decided I really need a special duvet cover for December!)

shortie3 · 08/11/2012 19:48

Wanna, did not get a Castle Sad. Was on the phone just after 8am and it ran out of stock whilst I waiting in the phone queue! Hoping it gets back in stock soon!

shortie3 · 08/11/2012 19:50

Ood, Tesco offer started today and it is just the medium boxes. You are allowed to up to 18, I only bought 12!

Oodthunkit · 08/11/2012 19:53

Ooh thanks, saw it on a thread a couple of days ago but could only go yesterday plus they were supposed to have discos on BOGTF and I'm craving them

WannaSplitAPineapple · 08/11/2012 19:55

In our primark they were in the home section. I hit primark early to avoid the crowds but agree its a nightmare store to tackle with a pram.
This thread is defo encouraging me to spend more. I can't resist a bargain.

WannaSplitAPineapple · 08/11/2012 19:58

That's blumming annoying shortie do you have a mothercare near you? Could you go in and show them the page on HDUK and see if they will price match? You can use your 25% off in store to I think.

TheHAUNTEDHouseofMirth · 08/11/2012 20:13

Thanks for Laura Ashley tip off. Just got £75 worth of stuff for £23.13 including delivery.
