Not a bargain exactly, but my bil is a pain to buy for, so takes an extra bit of thought. He loves to cook so this looked perfect for him.

3 month subscription for a monthly spice box £20.

I've also carefully chosen some spices for my dad.

I ordered on Sunday and they arrived today. Really pleased with them.

Being a bit lazy but I have a big shop in my basket with the entertainer, do we have any discount codes floating about?

Many thanks.

ChristmasKate · 09/10/2012 21:15

Thank you mustbe I have ordered one for DD, I must stop spending!

MooseyMoo · 09/10/2012 21:18

Quick look for GHD and found ASOS has them

www.asos.com/Women/Beauty/A-To-Z-Of-Brands/Ghd/Cat/pgecategory.aspx?cid=1904&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1

ASOS have a 10% off code MEGA10, but not sure if it will apply to this or not (sorry couldn't check as don't have account with them).

Buttertart · 09/10/2012 21:29

This is a great thread, thanks! Thought I'd mention that although Ocado has a good deal on the Vtech kidizoom camera, the video camera is even cheaper at Sainsbury's (£39.98 instead of £44.97).

Gormella · 09/10/2012 21:30

Just ordered the Asda wooden kitchen. Friends DC's have it and love it and I've been waiting for it to be half price!

Whyriskit · 09/10/2012 21:43

Thank you for the Joules code - have just ordered a new hand towel for my newly painted bathroom (ooh the excitement!) and a top for DS1's Christmas.

mustbetimetochange · 09/10/2012 21:45

sayhello elc always do the mansion for half price in the run up to Christmas - be warned it's huge!!

Also the last 2 years it has come up on Groupon - well one exactly the same - last year there was also a deparent store which looked like great fun.

rhondajean · 09/10/2012 21:59

Has anyone else heard from boden? Ive had two items dispatched.

I found this if anyone likes Plain Lazy...

www.plainlazy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Kidluckybag&source=AffWin

It's £83 worth of kids stuff for £26 - two nightwear items, T shirt, backpack, Socks and £5 worth of accessories, but you don't know the design til it turns up.

SayHelloToMyLittleFriend · 09/10/2012 22:04

Thanks mustbetime, I had a look at it in elc today and dd loved it (although I did wonder where I would put it). I saw an old post on hotukdeals from last year where it went half price and the 20% off code also worked on it so if that happened again I wouldn't be able to resist it. I think I'll hold off buying for another few weeks and hope I get a bargain :)

SminkoPinko · 09/10/2012 22:10

Does Joules usually send confirmation emails right away? My order (of a rather fab sweatshirt with a squeaking pig on it!) seemed to go through fine but I haven't received an email to confirm. [worried]

iloveholidays · 09/10/2012 22:14

If anyone is looking to buy the elf on the shelf, the girl one is on for £17.58 on the book depository at the moment... Cheapest I've seen it.

HolyAutumnGoldBatman · 09/10/2012 22:32

I haven't heard from Boden, but when I checked my orders progress they've all been cancelled except one which still says 'order placed'. It was worth a shot though!

milkymocha · 09/10/2012 22:40

I must stop looking at this thread!!!
Just ordered the Wooden Rescue Center from ELC, DS1 is going to amazed at christmas!!!! Brilliant - Thanks to whomever linked that Smile

WineGless · 09/10/2012 22:40

Rhondajean, what is the plain lazy stuff like? Thinking of it for Xmas hamper

rhondajean · 09/10/2012 22:47

It's reasonably well made - the potential issue would be, you don't know what slogan you will get till it arrives (that's plain lazy).

I ran the code through at boden a few times - two items have been despatched, the rest are still showing as ordered, nothing's been cancelled yet. I think I may have broken boden Sad

OhTheConfusion · 09/10/2012 22:54

Sminko, I got my Joules order confirmation through straight away tonight... but it took a few hrs last week :-)

ChristmasKate · 09/10/2012 22:59

I will not buy elf on the shelf

I will not buy elf on the shelf

Can someone please come and erase my debit card numbers from my memory until December the 1st please?

FredWorms · 09/10/2012 23:06

MooseyMoo, thanks for the spice link, what a fab little website!

You can put a few of these together for not much money and make a decent looking gift for those hard-to-buy-for people. Love it.

IHeartKingThistle · 09/10/2012 23:14

Awesome Joules code, thanks! Got DD's Christmas dress in the sale for just over £20 so the code made it £11!

SmellyFartado · 09/10/2012 23:14

Just ordered a Kiddizoom Camera on Ocado for DC1 - sorry for those not in the delivery areas - the offer is only available until midnight tonight. Some great other toys on offer there as well. Can get £20 off a first order if you spend more than £80 - so net £60 - offer code is VOU0681753.

DC1's presents almost sorted now and have lots of lovely things for DC2 - am so relaxed this year thanks to this thread giving me a kick up the proverbial to get started with some great ideas.

I have another tip for an easy Xmas present - magazine subsciptions. Here's a website but there are many others so shop around - here

MistressIggi · 09/10/2012 23:20

milkymocha SAVANNAH just worked for me at ELC. Haven't tried it on a sale item though.

OhTheConfusion · 09/10/2012 23:27

I love this thread!!!

Last week I had purchased one tiny gift... I now have almost all of DD2's, a heap of DD1's and some ideas for DS. Not to mention a good few bargins!

I have just got lots of ELC toys in the boots 3 for 2 offer and free delivery with a £45 or over spend.

HolyAutumnGoldBatman · 10/10/2012 00:15

On MSE they've got a code for free shipping from Plain Lazy if anyone is thinking of getting the goody bag.

It's MSEFREESHIPPING12 (am I allowed to post that here?)

BeaWheesht · 10/10/2012 05:14

No bargains to list but wanted to say that dd and ds both play with the asda toy kitchen everyday - give yourself a while to construct it though!
