Grin

Giraffe, you do make me laugh.

You mentioning about stamps to Ireland reminds me I need to get and post off cards from the kids to their dad (Lives in Australia) before too soon. I'll do that today.

I forgot to tell you.

Last night DS found his mini christmas tree. He's taken all the decorations off, wound the blue tinsel around properly and then decorated it with Lego Starwars mini figures Grin It looks pretty good and a great idea from him. He's even got the snowman R2-D2 and the Santa Darth Maul from the lego calander from last year and they are on top of the tree.

Hello, hello, hello!

My tree is on the way, just had the TNT notification. Tomorrow is the day Grin. Can't wait to smell it, is yours up now farrow?

Found red paper - in Asda! Only 80 pence per roll, bargain. Have done most of the wrapping now, final presents on their way. Well, I say final, but then again...

Must dash, open evening at school tonight, but I shall be in full Christmas cheer this weekend putting up the tree and getting excited about Jingle's arrival.

Not yet Mama, I saw some plain gold wrapping paper in Sainsbruy's today and thought of this thread.

farrowandbawl · 28/11/2013 17:15

Mama, don't forget, you need to saw off a couple of inches at the bottom and let it stand in a bucket of water for a day or so.

I'm dying to put the tree up, but can't just yet, I still need to move a few things around first to make room for the tree in the first place.

MamaPizza · 28/11/2013 20:24

Thanks for the tip farrow. It won't go up until Sunday, so will have it stand in a bucket from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. I got enough gold, it looks lovely. Getting seriously excited!!!

I fell off the thread, both DDs have been miserable with colds this week.

How are everyone's preparations going? We ordered the turkey and ham this week, and we're getting the tree on Tuesday. Me, DS and DD1 are wearing our Christmas jumpers today, I couldn't contain my festive-ness any longer! Can't wait to light the advent candle tomorrow and fill DS advent calendar tonight!

Enjoy the time off Chesty. Loads of Christmas preparations in those ten days?

House is clean, Jingle is ready to see daylight again tonight, so excited. DS thinks he is only having a chocolate advent calendar. He will be very happy when he sees Jingle with a Playmobil one tomorrow morning. OMG, I can't really believe it is tomorrow!

I'm having no end of trouble with the laptop at the moment, so you are all going to have to bear with me until I get it sorted out. I'm so sorry.

I hope you are all well and this has all typed out ok (it's so slow it's tkaing forever to do the most simplest of things.)

I'll be on soon, love you all and your preperations. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Plain paper is available at local markets, so it may bo worth looking there if anyone still needs any.

Anyway, got to get this stupid laptop sorted out, seee you all soon xx

Happy 1st December Grin

Jingle is here, but DS hasn't spotted him yet as he is in his room and DH is sleeping there at the moment. DS came to ours in the middle of the night, so he moved over. Can't wait to see his face when he sees his friend again.
