AF has been banned. She's helped me directly and indirectly over the years. I'll not be posting until her ban is lifted.

There's several threads about this. It's not a good decision MN has made this time.

I'm sorry ladies, I'm going to miss this thread and you all, but enough is enough. AF is one of the few who had guts to post somethings that no-one else dared and has got women out of crap and violent relationships time and time again with her advice. She was what MN stood for and was about.

This will be my last post until AF is back.

Today has been great. I ran 2k for the first time in my life and I detest running with a passion.

Did 1 km then did the 45 min workout and then did another 1km to see if I could do it again.

MRS Vamos - go into PC world, there's a nice Toshiba tablet in there which meets all our needs. It's cheap too. They've got a lot on display so you can give them a test run too!

Doing pretty well with the children's presents - think I will be able to finish getting theirs using clubcard boost next week. I got the infamous bag and blazer for £20 for my sister. Its the adult relations I find hard - my mum, dad brother and etc. DP and I have given up on christmas presents because he would buy me extravagent thoughtful presents then feel disappointed when I gave him a jumper!

DD's laptop was the sme price as one that I was looking at but has 1tb of memory, a faster processor and basically is twice a better machine for the exact same price as one that's half as good.

DD's birthday won't be much of a stress now that is out of the way. I can concentrate on Christmas now.

Ohh, my friend has finally got a much awaited smaller house, she has to move in the next couple of weeks so she'll be having christmas in a new house.

Any ideas on homewarming presents? She doesn't like flowers, pictures are too personal...she doesn't really do candles...she's quite a minimalist person.

I never have a clue what to buy adults either. Although I'm quite lucky that way as we've all agreed not to bother as there's so many kids to buy for as it is, so I guess I've got away with that one.
