LOL, you're a lightweight like me. I don't know how people manage to have a drink in the evening and not be affected by it...I've only got to look at it and the headache starts....unless it's malibu, for some reason, I can drink loads of that and I'm ok.

Weather here is horrible, but not as horrible as the thread I saw about the Christmas Appeal. Nasty stuff.

It seems to me that this place is becoming more like RL, where people do seem to be far less tolerant these days, of anyone, or anything. I think Mr. Dickhead Cameron's Big Society has created nothing more than a lot of "I'm alright, so fuck you, Jacks". There are some lovely people on here, but it feels like unless you are on a lovely thread like ours, they are very hard to find.

Makes me sad.

Hello Mrs. I've noticed that too about "The Big Society". I'm glad but also saddened it's not just me that's noticed it. I don't tell anyone anything anymore because of it. It IS a case of I'm alright Jack, I've come across this myself a few times. It's horrible.

As you know because of being ds's carer, I'm not working so am at college instead. Anyway, I've decided to volunteer to help in a food bank seeing as I've got some time spare. I sent the application off today, it only opened last week so there's a lot of applicants. Please can you wish me some luck?

They do but not millions like they used to. I buy a different type of tree and the needle retention is loads better than the normal trees you usually see.

We have had a plastic one for ten years so this year might be the year for a small real one too! Yes mainly because I love the smell, although one year my dad got one with bird poo on - that was bit too real..

I'd go for a black fake one too. If it's going to be fake, it may as well be a really good but versitle colour.
