Following on from this thread

She has had a chest x-ray but the doctor just said to rule things out. What are they looking for? He said her chest was clear when he listened to her.

She was sent for a chest x-ray so I assume the chest. Sorry, I don't really know.

Just been back to the first doctor who sent her for the x-ray. Urine now fine, has dismissed the 2 possible diagnosis the OOH doctor said, said it wouldn't be her leg as she wouldn't have come on suddenly. She has a very slight curve to her spine but if he wasn't looking for it he wouldn't have seen it. I think my father has a curved spine but the GP said not genetic. I have to give her pain relief when she needs it and if it hasn't cleared up in 2 weeks, go back.

Oh 444 sorry your going through this, your DD too. It sounds as if you get plausable suggestions as to what it may be but then discover its not but without getting any answers. Sad

FourFortyFour · 28/03/2011 20:45

She has just been down saying she feels sick and can't sleep but rejects all our suggestions. I had 1 hour sleep in 10 minute slots last night so am feeling less able to think tbh.

444- I hope your DD is feeling better? If not, can I suggest again that you take her to see an osteopath, who might be able to help. If you ring around a few, you should be able to find one who has dealt with children before. You would be able to stay with her during treatment as well.

FourFortyFour · 30/03/2011 08:07

I just asked how she was feeling and she said she was feeling a bit worse Sad. I wish I could take her to my osteopath but I will ring the local private hospital later this morning and see if they can help.
