Dla wait times part 35

New thread as this one is nearing the end ,, also going to post a separate thread for people either waiting for MR’s or starting the process of one (mandatory recommendation)

Scan date 11/12 as of last Friday was told still in holding. I was told my 12 April

brill I sent some off on 7th march 1st class it’s not on system yet then I sent more yesterday recorded what’s been delivered today but not on system lol bloody system is daft hope both lord are on system this week x

Hopefully im not much longer now, my scan date is 01/12

I just rang and spoke to a lovely lad called Ash, I deffo think they can check more than what they let on, as he was typing away as I was on the phone, as if he was looking at different things,( usually they just count your weeks and basically tell you to piss off ) he said mines is with a DM, and I asked is that still within a holding pile waiting on a DM or actually with a DM for a decision and he said no it's with a DM. He said you're almost at the 16 weeks, but should have a decision by 25th of April ( 19 weeks ) but obviously it could be anytime from now until 25th of April depending on the DM ( I've sent a diagnosis so DM shouldn't really be held back with having to contact anyone )

@DanDan85 I had the same message on Friday I asked today what was happening had it been verified he replied it had gone to a decision maker to see if it will be backdated hoping so as I 1st claimed 25/07/23

When they say 'its been allocated to a DM' on this date (past), does that mean its actually with the DM, or its in a holding pile awaiting to go to a certain DM?
Its so confusing!

hi hun i changed them on Thursday which was well in enough time as it was 4 days before my statement was produced ,, I think it’s cos UC still haven’t verified the dla award yet and they said their is no time scale for verification I’ve seen people wait months for theirs it’s a joke dla was a long enough wait now we have to wait again xx

I think when it's in a holding pile, it's literally just in a massive random pile with thousands of others, waiting to be allocated to a DM. So I do think when it's with a DM, it also means it's been dwindled down into a smaller pile that's been put on a DMs desk/computer waiting for that specific DM to look at your file as they're allocated a certain amount to work through hence why it could be with a DM for a certain amount of days/weeks. A lot of other factors come into the wait while it's with the DM as in them waiting to hear back from a schools/doctors etc some reply back to the DWP within a few days, others could take longer to reply which holds it up.

Hi guys, 6 weeks waiting on a decision on MR still waiting how long are people waiting for a response on MR?

If a DM calls you do they call off a number? Just had a no caller id number and didn’t answer now I’m worrying I missed a DM

They awarded me from October to Feb and then separately a payment from Feb to March as my statement was already produced for this month but you will get longer then me as yours should be September to October because the statement dates are from say for example the 18th of sep to the 19 of October my dla was awarded from 13th November so they owed me 5 months hun but you requested ur forms in October so they will owe you full payment October November December Feb and March so I would say 6 months coz they paid me the full 5 months back pay unless they pay u this months with ur statement depending when ur UC dates are hope this makes sense and helps xx

so I still havnt heard anything and left a message yesterday and today as well as called today!

🥹🥳 been awarded dm phoned at 5.20pm was on phone 30 mins said will put it on system when open in morning or Thursday woohoo I didn’t ask what rate so need to call again he did say he will txt me in morning to say xx

I have been awarded mrc no mobility don’t know her she wasn’t awarded it lady on phone was very rude I will wait for the letters what do I need to do for u /c ? Am I entitled to any extra payment at all via my firm was late in they only paid me from 29-11 scan date was 27-11 so I don’t know what to do ? Xxx

Hi my daughter got declined on 7th March for not having a physio yet a physio acceptance letter was sent in as evidence I rang and requested Mr and explained. A team leader phoned last week n said he could see they'd recieved the info but I have just had a missed call at 5.15 and then text to say dm had phoned and would ring bk at 5.45 I didn't realise dms even worked after 5 the man was lovely and asked few questions about my daughter he said he would write the outcome has anyone had anything similar as this seems a really quick turn around for a MR and know how long for a descion after the call please.

Hi shaff I just pestered and pestered I sent them 6 messages in one day yesterday 🤣😂😂 also , I am unable to claim carers element as I get LCWRA I would just keep messaging and pestering and when you do it on journal I did it under a payment x

Sorry I’m not 100% sure but I vaguely remember seeing a post a while ago about something similar and they was awarded after first being declined and it was really quick too i rekon the 2nd DM has looked into it all decided she would likely qualify and didn’t want to waste anytime probably because you’ve already waited long enough please don’t quote me on it tho as I don’t want to Get ur hopes up I’ve got my 🤞🤞🤞🤞 for you xx
