42mins on hold so far . Anyone phoned this morning? How long did it take to answer?

Hi new to this, scan date 6/12. Phoned up last week and was told it was in a holding pile but right at the top and would be one of the first to go to a DM. Phoned up again today to be told I would be looking at the middle of April.

Just got the “we’re still looking at your claim” message…is there any correlation between this and anything ?

Just got a text to stay they are still looking at my claim but I’m ringing anyway as they said I should hear something today turns out lots of dec dates according to fb got the exact same text at 12:28 same time 😂

@Mamadesgarcons Ive done a COC but been declined so next step is an mr. Its almost like they have just ignored whats been said on the form. Fingers crossed for you

Must be a 15 weeks thing because of the letter saying 15 weeks that’s my guess lol

If you get awarded for like two years and you report it to UC does UC only give you the disability element for two years?

Scan date 18/12 new (first time) application.
I just phoned, got theough to a really lovely lady, made the excuse that I just wanted to check if I had filled in the nationality part right as I did get confused about the european bit (which is true), She checked and said thats its all correct.
She told me that my application is with a decision maker, it went to the decision maker 06/03 so about two weeks ago.
I said Im only on week 13 expected to be at the bottom of the holding pile!
Im sorry to those who have an earlier date than me and still have not gone to a DM yet, doesnt mean I will get my answer first, or even like the answer I get.
Does anybody know on average how long it usually takes once with a DM please?
Worrying its a decline, I also asked her if I would need to reapply for the mobility element (I did fill it out with this application) once he turns 5 (May) due to the fact its really soon, and She said I would need to reapply for it, which is annoying for the sake of a month or two. She kept on saying 'IF' hes eligible (which I know he is). Maybe Im just looking too much into it.

Yes but no news. Told me it’s not been seen yet. I got a text today though just now to say still looking at claim. First text I’ve got.

Just come off the phone after nearly an hour. My daughter has been awarded middle rate care low rate mobility. I am please but she has a lot of night time needs . I don't know if I have it in me to fight again. Sent forms off 20th Nov 2023 with recoded delivery . Been awarded until 25th Nov 2025. Does anyone know how much back pay I will receive and how much I will be given monthly please?

Forms scanned 11/12 , rang last month they said in holding pile ,rang last week they said it’s with decision maker and I should hear by beginning of April , received text today to say they are still looking at my claim. Fingers crossed for you all. Looks like a few of us got the same text ! X

Hi I have just been awarded again was awarded last year July from a claim I sent off in march was only awarded for a year so ran out this march I done the renewal we was awarded again for another year once I got the award again I just rang Uc and made them aware he was awarded again as I didn’t want it to automatically stop or they try to tell me I owe them money as I didn’t notify them it was awarded again and they said it wouldn’t but it’s great that I informed them so I would just do that but I don’t think it automatically stops hope this helps xx

Called dla they have finally received and scanned in my sons birth certificate, asked if his claim was with a decision maker they didn’t tell me just told me I would hear something at the beginning of may which would take our claim to 21 weeks

I had text on 4/3 last I just spoke to said I was awarded 14/3.

I’m assuming the text you get is generic? Just looked and I think my text for other child was about 2 weeks before awarded but maybe it’s not an indicator things are progressing?

Well that was a waste of time 😭 had someone called tam or tan with a terrible echo. She said that I won’t hear back until April! Yet I was told I should hear by today 😭😭
