@Coconutstar no there not open today or tomorrow but I think most dms are working weekends to catch up with the backlog.. If I don’t hear this weekend I’ll be calling straight away Monday morning at 9am x

@TiredTilly the h.v inititally forgot to do the o.t referral so it was only made 3 weeks ago. My girls asq scores where also shocking. She was referred to peads when she was 13 months old and had 2 year check in Oct when she was 26 months her scores where only 50 on the one that needed to high and 195 on the one that needed low this resulted in pead app being rushed through and she saw consultant in November she was sent straight for genetic blood testing and results have come back fine. Can I ask did you revieve a report after your first salt app.

Hey, yes I recieved the SALT report about 3 months after the first appointment. The second appointment was a little over 3month ago but haven’t got a report for that one yet, should be soon. My older son’s SALT reports always came in the post 6months after his appointments. Just depends how busy the SLT is

@TiredTilly ahh i see I was waiting until after salt app hoping I'd be able to send the report as supporting evidence along with the sleep diaries ive completed for eyhdt didn't see the point in paying special delivery twice lol I might aswell get them sent now

What day is the SALT app? Maybe explain the situation to her with DLA and see if she can send it to you asap.

@Lolly966 hey mines been with dm since 28th feb 😑dm wanted evidence to support what I was saying on 6th march sent off on 7th march still not on system when I called yesterday bloody nightmare seen people with no evidence been awarded makes no sense must be dms pot luck isn’t it he did say he would keep a look out for evidence being sent but I don’t hold my breath to that as yesterday lady said all mail goes to one place then on system so could be next week when they see it 🤦‍♀️ making me so anxious been trying to forget about but then when dm phoned that’s all I keep thinking about lol none the wiser if they’ve even received it wish I sent off signed for now xx

@Mothertothreeboys that’s well long to be waiting for a decision! That’s terrible that they haven’t scanned your extra evidence on the system yet, they like being slow don’t they🙄 yeah it’s definitely pot luck, I wonder if we’ve got the same dm? Because every time I’ve called there’s been no decision and most people with my scan date have already been awarded and it’s making me so anxious now. I just wanna know if it’s a decline so I can prepare for a mr! Oh didn’t you send it special delivery? I really hope you get a decision this week and it’s an award decision! I’ll have my fingers and toes crossed for you, I forgot your scan date is it around the beginning of November? Xx

@Margot82x @Emma2345 the relief I feel since finding out they have been awarded! It’s something else. Those forms were one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. To write it all down.. yes we live it but as mums u get on with it… but to see it all on paper… it was too emotional.
so glad it’s over for a while 🙏🏼

Totally, I am a bit of a veteran but every time I have to do one of these forms or ask for support… I feel awful, like I am betraying them by telling strangers about the worst moments, of course, they are not interested in the heart melting things, just the heartbreaking ones. It’s soul destroying. So glad it’s done and dusted for you. I am just waiting for a CoC 😘

Aw I bet I’m so happy for you can I ask weather you or @Margot82x have updated UC yet I did the day I found out then contacted them again Friday they turned round and said they can’t verify his claim yet and I needed to submit it all again do u think this could be because they might not of updated them yet or something x?

made the original claim for DLA back in October… scan date 22/11 … I’ve since phoned as my DD has been diagnosed with cancer.. does anyone have any info on whether the decision will take longer now I’ve added a new illness to the list? TIA
