My scan date is 20/11. Have you sent off any evidence ?
The last I phoned was yesterday and he said it’s still in the holding pile. He said he has escalated my case and now I’m worried. From what I’ve read it seems the cases that get escalated always get denied. Like the dm’s get annoyed when a case is escalated. So I’m preparing for MR now because I can feel it will be rejected. Has anyone had their case escalated and been awarded?

Can anyone advise, when sending extra supporting evidence, is it just the child's name, date of birth and ref number at the top of the page?

I am on week 12 today, but this is what my son has. Awaiting a decision x

@TiredTilly up to now iv sent in initial report from paediatrician who has said dd will have assessment for asd sent in assessment from portage and asq3 scores off h.v. we have first specialist speech and language assessment on Tuesday and still waiting for o.t referral app to come through so will send them later. I hope the escalation just means because you've been waiting so long.

Ah thank you. I didn’t even think to send my asq’s 🙁 he scored the lowest on everything, also waiting on an OT appointment aswell. His had 2 speech appointments, both useless as they couldn’t get his attention or catch his eye for an hour. Did you chase up the HV for the OT appointment? My HV has sent a referral for OT months and months ago and haven’t heard anything.

Have u rang to see if there’s an update? I would ring and see if it’s with a decision maker if it is I wouldn’t send it in if it isn’t then I would but you can always keep it to one side for a manditory reconsideration if you need to do one x

im the same scan date. Called on Wednesday and mine is with a DM. I was told there should be a decision by the end of next week so 🤞 we don’t have to wait much longer xx

I called beginning of this week, she said they're taking up to 20 weeks, and said "I can tell you, it's exactly where it needs to be"
So I've no idea what that means x

Unsure if anyone is able to help but i was backdated £1530. I know they said award was MRC and LRM but can anyone work out how many weeks this covers? Waiting for letter in post. Trying to work out how much carers element and disability element we would be backdated. Thank you 🙏

16 weeks @ £95 plus £10 xmas bonus x

@Emmajm85 Thank you thats good to know hopefully mine will be with a dm aswell, i did try to phone today but had to cut it off whilst on school run. Fingers crossed for a decision for us by next week. my anxiety is through the roof with it. Ill be glad when its over with x

Ahhhh have you heard much? I’ve had 2 letters but only the general ones. Me too! The first few week waiting flew by and I didn’t really think of it a lot but now it’s getting closer its dragging and I’m constantly checking 😫

No just the same as you, 2 standard letters. Same, I totally ignored it was happening at first.
