Good luck I’m not hopeful when I rang a month ago they had asked school for more evidence and well school arnt so helpful

Couple of questions as I’m getting confused with info that I’ve read online.
My letter said 15 weeks but I think it’ll be longer, does the 15 weeks mean that’s how long to be awarded or how long it takes to go to a DM?
Also, I read somewhere you get a decision and it takes 4 weeks to recieve money? But are people being paid before they receive the letter? Are is it all done at the same time by the DM?

I saw someone last week (or maybe even week before ) get awarded with scan date 14/11 and one on the Facebook group this morning with 16/11 date get awarded so I guess it’s a little random/ give or take a few weeks for people!

So everyone around me or with same scan dates seem to be awarded, mine is defo declined I just know it 😭

Congratulations for all that have been awarded this morning. I’m starting to give up hope. I think the DWP needs a massive shake up and a move to this century.

on week 15, just rang for the first time, she said it’s waiting to go to a case manager and people 3 weeks in front of me are only just being looked at 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Mrslane2019 hopefully we all wake up with the money in the bank doesn’t look like many get a text saying there awarded tho the whole system is very strange and the wait is the worst 😂

It does! But then why send letters saying you’ll get a decision in 15 weeks! Although they might speed up my scan date is a little later than this

Yeah I still don’t understand why they are still saying up to 15 weeks. It would probably free up the phone lines if they correct the waiting time on the letter

so much for waiting 2 weeks but I’ve been told so many different things lately lol probably be another 3 weeks or so before I actually hear if it’s awarded or declined 😬

06/11 - so deflated, just got through to a lovely guy, a decision was made today, its been declined, basically they've contacted school and school have told them that she is no different to any other child at the school. I feel like the school have blocked me at every point in the last 3 years. He's put in for a MR and I should draft a letter and send in every report and letter I've had for her.
