I've honestly never heard of it before I always see people on here sending in extra evidence, I've just looked through the claim form and the notes and nothing is there and I'm sure they'd say on the phone wouldn't they. I'm going to call them tomorrow to clarify.

Is anyone else same date as me 24/10 this is my second time applying first one was 2 years ago didn't have much evidence at the time so was declined my son is selective mute and awaiting asd assessment he also has a ehcp in school

@Mumzieof1 @surreygirl1987 Hi, I sent 2 lots of evidence off, 1 in December and 1 in January. I phoned up the other week to see if it was scanned on and it was. I mentioned that I’d posted my forms off in time to get there for the end date of 10/10 but hadn’t been scanned on until 12/10. She put a note on the system to say that if I was awarded, I sent my forms off in time so it would be backdated to when I called at the end of August. Just wanted to let you know so you’re not worrying all wkend xx

I hope they back pay after sending in evidence. I’m 19/10 and sent in more evidence last Monday. I’m waiting to phone on 20/02 as my son has a paediatrician app 4pm on 19/02 where we’re hopefully going to formally have an ASD diagnosis. So I’ll ring and see what’s going on with the claim and also let them know if it’s confirmed.

@Mumzieof1 ah sorry no mine’s a new claim. Surely there’s no way they’d make you wait all this time and then start the whole thing again just for sending in more evidence! Surely if they don’t for new claims, then they wouldn’t for an MR, even they have to see that’s wrong! Hoping you get good news from your MR and is backdated to when you first contacted. 🤞🏻 x

Is anyone still waiting from 10/10? This wait is driving me nuts. I called last week and was told I was in a holding queue and would be at least another 2 weeks, but I'm seeing people weeks after me being awarded now. I've got that sinking feeling that it will be a decline. I had to do a mandatory reconsideration a year ago with my son and was really hoping not to go through that stress again.

@ASDMumma85 loads of your date being awarded so you should know soon quite a few awarded after and even after me 😭 I don't understand seen 27/10 awarded few days ago. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏾x

@ASDMumma85 im also 10/10 and still waiting.

My scan date is the 25/10. I've received no letter or texts at all but I know it's been received as I called in November to update the IEP plan. I also didn't send much evidence as the school have put a SPOA in for possible developmental delay and autism. She also has astigmatisms in both eyes.

I collected as much as possible this time round it's such a draining process isn't it hopefully we will hear something soon I had a text Monday to say still looking at the claim and rang and it's a waiting for go to DM so hopefully soon now good luck to you too x

It's very stressful waiting and wondering if you explained their extra needs enough. I keep thinking the worst that it's probably been declined but I'd definitely appeal it. The school are backing me fully and the hospital she goes to for 3 monthly eye checks is the same department that children go to when they get an autism diagnosis. The fact I've had no response at all is worrying. I'll probably contact them this week if I haven't heard anything.

Hopefully some. More awards have happened today and they've just failed tosend out texts
