what number is everyone calling? I dont know if i have called the correct number. scan date 13.10. First time trying to call.

Reading on here I don't know whether to call. Scan date was 11/10. So many seem to be being awarded from around then. Maybe I'll wait until Mon/Tue and then call if I've still heard nothing.

I’ve just sent more evidence in from varying healthcare professionals for appointments coming up around 5 or 6 photocopies by special delivery today

No sorry, I found my letter out then decided to give it until Monday. But if we get to lunchtime on Monday and I've heard nothing I'll call then. A lot of people seem to be getting decisions for 10/10. I know it doesn't really work this way but maybe we'll see some 11/10s on Monday?

I think it doesn't help that last time I called (about adding extra evidence) the woman I spoke to was a bit rude. 😂

Do they award on weekends or is that it until Monday now?

Once again on Tuesday I was told it was the dm them to be told yesterday it’s still in the holding que 4 times this has happened now I generally don’t understand their process

@CometCupidDonnerBlitzen yeah I’ve seen a lot around our dates getting awarded now. If I haven’t heard by next Thursday, I might give them a call. I’m putting it off because I don’t want to hear bad news from someone if they’re really rude.

I’ve seen people awarded over the wkend so we might be lucky. 🤞🏻 x

I was 10/10 and decision was made on Wednesday 7th. No text or call or anything. I rang simply because I seen people with the 19th being awarded haha

Fingers crossed. If anything changes I'll be sure to update here and I'll let you know the outcome of the call on Monday. I agree, I'll be pretty cross if there is no award at all as she is definitely entitled to one. I think the whole process is quite draining. It took weeks to gather all the evidence and then we've waited another 17/18 weeks on top of that. I can understand why people give up if they get a no first time. I think personally it doesn't help that we're also chasing an EHCP and ADHD diagnosis, it can feel like a never ending cycle of forms and appointments sometimes...

Haha were they friendly? I'm such a wuss, I just don't fancy being told off last thing on a Friday afternoon. 😂

The man I spoke to was quite nice actually... Didn't grumble that I was calling or anything. Said a decision had been made and went through more security and told me the award, date it was backdated to, date of first payment, how long the award was for and to diarise for the renewal as they don't always remember to send renewal forms out haha. I've never had a nasty one to be fair x

I've just received a text to say my son qualifies 😭 my scan date is 16/10. I rung Monday to be told it wasn't with anyone so it can change so quickly! Good luck everyone xx

I rang an hour ago and no decision has been made yet however it's with an assigned case worker and the lady on the phone says I should hear very soon. My scan date was 9/10

Thanks everyone, will update when they finally pick up. Hoping I've not left it too late as I think they're only open til 5.

Been lurking for very many threads now two new claims 17/10 & 19/10 called today neither have been allocated to anyone yet this process is so long. Nice to see the october dates finally here.
