That's brilliant, FlutterBy. Woke up this morning and came especially to check if you'd been awarded. So pleased for you.

Thank you everyone! It's been such a long wait for us all. The advise and support on these threads has kept me from going insane these past few months. Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting I hope you all get answers soon.

Does anyone know if getting the back payment they deduct money off your universal credit the same way they would when earning wages? Or does it not effect that at all. Thanks xx

Also is next payment 4 weeks from the day of award? So sorry for all the questions I'm totally confused by it all as u can see 🤣

Scan date 10/10, waiting patiently for feel less and less hopeful.

No, it's not considered earnings, and is backdated money you should have been entitled to for your child, so not affected.

I was paid yesterday, so I'm expecting the next payment 4 weeks (yesterday) as payments are on Wednesday's. To be fair, I haven't had the letter yet, so I'll just wait to see what that confirms.

It looks like they are just finishing all the end of September this week. My scan date is also Oct so expecting at least another 2 weeks maybe. Don't lose hope xx

I am 27/09 and yet to find out. The problem is it all depends on how quickly people respond. If they have to do any follow ups, how quickly the DM works etc. some cases will be more straight forward than others, some cases the DM may call in sick for a few days or have annual leave. Please don’t be discouraged

@RainbowZebraWarrior thanks so much for all the help in Ur reply. I was only awarded yesterday so not had any payments yet to go off so was a little confused. Can I ask what day you actually got awarded if possible please xx

I'd give them a ring at 9am if you can, most of us late September dates have had answers now.

@Hayz0711 same scan date for coc and I sent some extra info by special delivery yesterday just in case

however about 10-12 days ago I did send some to the free post address

I phoned on Monday and was told there would be a likely award (that note was added on 17/01) I think the thing that’s holding things up is that my child doesn’t have a national insurance number and they have to apply for one. Not that they’ve told me that - a helpful PP explained that’s the coding I have. I’ll give it another 2 weeks (then it would have been with DM for 4 weeks) before I try again. That will take me to the 20 week mark. Congrats on your award !

I didn't get through yesterday so trying again now 🤞🏻
