@Gemma111 good luck xx I’m 31/08 still waiting too xx

Gemma111 · 11/01/2024 08:42

Thank you. Hope you hear soon. If I get through I'll post and let you know what they say xx

Skelly201 · 11/01/2024 08:51

@Gemma111 same here😩 nearly 23 weeks now (scanned 14/08) and I’m just waiting for the post each day for a declined letter. Gonna call and try and get through to them again today and chase it up x

Gemma111 · 11/01/2024 08:53

I feel for you that's before me 🤦‍♀️ it's so stressful isn't it. I just want to know now I'm fed up of waiting. Bad news would be awful after waiting so long too. Good luck with your call xx

Kellyfoo12345 · 10/01/2024 22:59

i thought so, no point in claiming it,

You can claim carers element which is about £180 (ish).

TeamNoSleepHere · 11/01/2024 09:21

I’m not sure yet as haven’t received any letters confirming DLA yet but I think it may be the higher rate and no mobility.

TeamNoSleepHere · 11/01/2024 09:23

Loup19863 · 11/01/2024 06:24

@TeamNoSleepHere do you mind me asking what rate you’ve been awarded? I’m waiting on a decision for my 2 n half year old, same as what you’ve described with your little one, I’ve been expecting a decline because of his age so really pleased to hear your little one the same age has been awarded. Sent evidence off SALT, HV, nursery, section 23 letter x

I’m not sure yet as haven’t received any letters confirming DLA yet but I think it may be the higher rate and no mobility.

@Homesweethome93 there saying around 7/8 weeks x

Do you still get money while doing the MR? If you had a previous claim

Jneill2021 · 11/01/2024 09:39

Amazing! What was your scan date xx

Sarah260486 · 11/01/2024 09:45

@Sunshinesun 29/08 xx

Kezzia87 · 11/01/2024 09:53

@Skelly201 my scan date is 11/08 and mines with a decision maker now, hopefully yours is too… my sons claim is a clerical claim so that’s what’s taken a bit of extra time

Gemma111 · 11/01/2024 09:53

Just got off the phone to a lovely, helpful guy. My daughter was unfortunately turned down which I'm fuming about. He read the letter out to me and it's as if they have completely ignored all my evidence and anything I wrote 😡 the guy on the phone even said I can see all the evidence and shows how much care she needs..

Homesweethome93 · 11/01/2024 10:02

So say if your child’s been awarded hrc and lrm but you disagree with the mobility side to things is a MR for the whole thing or can it just the mobility?

Rellz · 11/01/2024 10:04

I called today as I wanted to send in evidence and I have been awarded HRC from application request date. I’m so relieved. I only called to confirm the address.

scan date 01/09

ForTheLoveOfSleep · 11/01/2024 10:12

For those choosing not to claim Carer's Allowance in lieu of UC carers element please make sure you claim your carers credits.

Carer's Allowance and Carer's Credit count towards your NI contributions for your state pension. UC carers element does not.

Following
Scan date 28/09

Knight23 · 11/01/2024 10:32

Scan date 15/08
After almost 22 weeks, we finally got the text to say my child qualifies.. on hold now to find out rates.
Was soo worried it was going to be a decline.
Good luck everyone waiting 🤞

Linacre96 · 11/01/2024 10:33

01/09 on hold to see if a decision has been made yet nervous as anything

Linacre96 · 11/01/2024 10:48

01/09 was awarded yesterday! Good luck to everyone else!

fraggle19781 · 11/01/2024 11:00

Scan date 6/9

Got through straight away at 9 am this morning, only to be told that my claim has not even been passed onto the decision maker yet and that I would not get a decision until the end of Jan / Mid Feb. Has any of you lovely people have the same scan date as me and already have had the decision through.
