Anxiously waiting, scan date 4/9.

My son receives middle rate care and I’ve recently put in an appeal for higher rate care and mobility does anyone have a rough idea of how long it took? :)

@Kezzia87 can't believe our early August dates are still waiting! My scan date is the 1/8 gonna try and ring today, have you rang recently? Are you with a DM yet? I know it sucks but it's kind of comforting knowing that there are still some early August dates still waiting as I thought I was just forgotten about hah x

@Paige36 it was about 2.5 hours later another letter popped up on my journal with the backpay amount xx

@Willowblake yes I rang this morning, they just said it’s with a DM again now so hopefully a decision is imminent.. Your scan date is crazy isn’t it? Just chase them now lol I’ve been ringing every other day at least. If you can’t get through, 9am is deffo the best time to ring. I’m usually finished in half an hour max which I’m glad of as the holding music hurts my ears haha

Hi, Is this second child claim i saw you did? congratulations on this, did your 1st claim not have mobility? I am hoping for high mobility as it was not awarded for first with autism, now second is Adhd but will appreciate any help to be honest

my date is 8/9 last i heard was text on the 18.12 fingers crossed

Tried ringing like 4 times now and keep getting cut off 🤣 what a joke! Just gonna try and ring dead on 9 tomorrow....mad ain't it! They gotta be speaking to the school or something, literally cannot think of any other reason why! Really hoping you get some positive news soon, it's already hard enough without all this stress! X

Took me 5 calls to get threw been on hold an hour so far

@Paige36 5 days got my back pay today so about 8 days in total i waited for descions to pay from uc

01/09 just been told it’s now with a decsion maker

Had a missed call from a Burnley number 01282 does anyone know if this could be a DM? No voicemail left just a missed called.. I can't call the number back at the minute

Am I Delusional with my claim time? I was advised 15 weeks. Scan date 13.10 i was hoping to have a decision end of this month? Looking at comments it may be march April before I have a decision.

@lpt33 think we’ve all been told 15 weeks it’s beyond a joke, I called this afternoon and it does say on the automated line it’s now taking up to 20wks, by the looks of it they’re finishing august and starting the beginning of September, hopefully now Xmas and new year are out of the way it might speed up. Back in may I did another claim and that took 18wks so I’d say you’re looking at at least 18wks x

i thought the same, as both my letters say 15 weeks but my scan date is 28/9 so im 15 weeks this frriday and ive had 2 letter and 2 texts so far, i havent rang for an update because when i rang for the form i was told 19 weeks wait and since then ive been told 15/17/18/19/20/23 weeks so i dont have a set time frame 😞i just know its not anytime soon x

Oh No, I haven't even had a text. I had a letter to say claim received. Then another one to say please don't contact us your claim is in hand. The was beginning of December. A lady at work said she got her claim in 12 weeks and the money was in her bank before the letter arrived. Personally I just want to know if its been awarded.

Hi all, I sent 2 forms off beginning of December. No text. Rang this morning to say one was registered onto the system (27/12) and a letter is on the way requesting a birth certificate but she couldn't find the other form after looking for 10/15mins. I almost cried because it had taken me so long to fill out but at the last minute she had found it but it was not 'registered' although recieve same date. My question is, when I send off the requested birth certificate, can I send it together with the second child's one together with a note before they ask me again?

Hi, I literally updated my DD claim this morning, they already messaged me on my journal and have agreed to back date from 29/08 and said the back pay will be in my account either this Friday or Saturday.
