Yeah I’ve definitely learnt my lesson on that 🙈 so annoying! Luckily I have two copies for each child so I have another!

@keddie I'm on nearly week 6 of the MR, it was signed for on the 11th Dec but haven't had any form of acknowledgment at all. I'm hoping it's just a couple more weeks and goes in our favour.

AndrewGarfieldsLaptop · 18/01/2024 18:44

I honestly can't remember if I sent a birth certificate now

Amycroft · 18/01/2024 19:19

I phoned today, I'm on week 16 exactly today. Lady said that hasn't been given to a DM yet and to really wait till 20 weeks to hear anything! Which I still dont get as some people have taken longer some have taken less time that 20 weeks so I guess it's juat a waiting game😩 hoping I hear within next 2 weeks🤞 congrats to everyone who has been awarded must be a massive relief.

Dally23 · 18/01/2024 20:17

Hiya , on week 18 , they are telling me 20 weeks but others seem to be getting theirs through even though their scan date after ours . No rhyme or reason 😐

Thank you … so stressful

Dumbo05 · 18/01/2024 21:22

I’ve received 2 letters to show he’s qualified for HRC today, they are slightly different but none of the information is different- does anybody know which you use as proof of DLA? This is our first award so learning as I go (mainly from you guys!)

Starlightstargazer · 18/01/2024 22:26

when they say ‘scanned into the system’, does that mean every page is scanned? I’ve sent a lot of evidence - how can I be sure it’s all gone through?
Scanned today 18/1/24

Yes all will be scanned but you can ring and check, I sent in extra evidence and I rang and they went through what they received to make sure all was there

Thanks. I numbered all the pages so hopefully will be ok! Hoping they can read my handwriting!

Scan date 06/09 - no letter or text, but back pay has landed in my account today. Can’t quite work out what my sons been awarded, but just over the moon it’s all gone through.

Use the amount you have recieved minus £10 for the Christmas bonus, divide it by the number of weeks you have been waiting including the weeks since you called unless you sent it back late. This will give you the weekly amount, then look up the rates of DLA and you should be able to work out your rates. The weekly amount will add up or divide perfectly into one or more of those rates. ie mrc lrm etc

Mamaof4boysxo · 19/01/2024 01:13

Really starting to think the worst now, 19weeks today, scan date was 8th sept😔 hoping I don't have a fight on my hands! X

Hlr1994 · 19/01/2024 06:07

@Mummy2024 thank you! I did manage it in the end, it was the mobility side that was making me get it wrong, as it was obviously only backdated to his 5th birthday, which was 2 weeks after our scan date. We got HRC and LRM, so very happy with the outcome 😊

Anne92 · 19/01/2024 07:42

Can someone help me work out the rates from the back pay I received, I can't work it out and want to know what she's awarded. Thank you x

TanSav95 · 19/01/2024 08:13

Will be ringing this morning to see what rates my girl got! So happy for her that they haven’t declined her

Geegee1506 · 19/01/2024 08:14

Received money in my bank today, so happy I could cry!! From working it out I think it's HRC. How do I update UC ? Do I have to wait until I receive my letter?

Nonamenoplacetogo · 19/01/2024 08:26

@Mamaof4boysxo I've been lurching here and I have a scan date if 7/9 and no news since a text on 18/12. To be honest I expect to be turned down as it would just continue the terrible few years I've had

AndrewGarfieldsLaptop · 19/01/2024 08:54

Scan date 25/09. I am endlessly refreshing my bank app!

Mum2threeplus2bonuskids · 19/01/2024 09:18

Report a change > children and other people who live with you
Then click on the child it’s about and fill in all their details again.
Then you can report a change under ‘caring for someone’ in the same way
