@Keddie @Jneill2021 our MR was completed yesterday and we have been awarded HRC & HRM until 2031 I’m so happy I could cry. Good luck and keep me posted on yours please x

What disability is this for if you don’t mind me asking?

Mamof31 · 18/01/2024 12:12

What number does a dm usually call you from just had a missed call from a 0844 number could that be them

Danwal · 18/01/2024 12:18

Just got the text to say been awarded, if I call will they tell me the rates over the phone or do I have to wait. Scan date 13.9

Jneill2021 · 18/01/2024 12:25

@Danwal they should tell you just ask if there's any update and they'll tell you x

Mummytoviboys · 18/01/2024 12:35

@Sunshinesun
scan date was 08/09,
she wouldn’t say on the phone just that a letter has been sent out with the reasons!
im getting ready to do a MR!
fingers crossed for you 🤞 I hope you get some good news, what’s your scan date? Xx

whitewooddc · 18/01/2024 12:40

@BrizzleMum84

I've had this problem this morning but now am through on hold - don't select any option when it comes to the survey question (1 or 2) and then you get through, or I did anyway. Previously I was picking option 1 or 2 and then I'd be cut off!

whitewooddc · 18/01/2024 12:42

@Danwal same boat here. Had the text on Tuesday but nothing in bank and no letter so I want to know the rate - on hold now (1 hour so far)

Robyn81 · 18/01/2024 12:45

Does anyone know if you dona change of circumstances and are awarded a higher rate... do they pay the back pay on randomly or with your next regular payment? Please and thanks

Ilovemychildren123 · 18/01/2024 12:47

@Holllymum autism diagnosis and Global development delay x

Aussielover · 18/01/2024 13:02

@Ilovemychildren123 I am hoping to apply for mobility because I do think my little one meets criteria for smi. What evidence did you send and is there any tips? I know about the 5 point test which we feel he meets. What kind of writing did the nursery put? As I may need to get a supporting document to help me also. I would really love some advice. Also diagnosed asd and gdd x

Ilovemychildren123 · 18/01/2024 13:07

@Aussielover the nursery wrote a letter detailing how far behind he is and that he has a Personal evacuation plan in place as he wouldn’t be able to follow instructions. They detailed how he uses toys that are developmentally below his age and he doesn’t use them as in playing he bites them instead. I sent a detailed letter stating case law after watching a YouTube video. I sent the EHCP plan, nursery SEN plan, paediatric letters, autism diagnosis report as well I hope this helps x

Aussielover · 18/01/2024 13:13

Thank you I also have all these things except ehcp in process , I've read about case law and how to detail each section
did you just ask the nursery for a letter specifically for your claim ? I want to but feel scared to ask no idea why when I think he's entitled / fitting the criteria
How old is your little one
I also have had dla since he was 1, do I just put in to ask for an extension it runs out in 1 year , I want to try and extend it because the gap is widening because if his delay things won't get any better and keep filling in every 2 years is hard x

Margot82x · 18/01/2024 13:20

Same scan date as me
22/11 x

lillyT83 · 18/01/2024 14:06

Hi I done my daughter's coc in December and I got told 26 week wait for a decision! Hopefully it will be done quicker but taking longer than new claims. I sent a new claim off for my daughter's twin brother 2nd November so I'm not going to prob hear from either until least march/April time. Good luck

Anne92 · 18/01/2024 14:10

@whitewooddc can you let me know if you get through please, had text the same day and no ones replying aha

Luevzamum · 18/01/2024 14:28

@Ilovemychildren123 congratulations hun glad you wait is over xx

BrizzleMum84 · 18/01/2024 14:28

Scan date 15th Sept.

Spoke to a lovely lady who said my forms are currently with a case manager and it is due for a descion due to the length of time.

She said I should have a descion by the end of next week and if I haven't heard anything to call back.

She explained depending on the case manager I may get a text message.

Hope this helps anyone with a similar scan date. Xx

Stephk88 · 18/01/2024 14:29

I got through after 90mins and my claim is now with a decision maker I should hear in the next couple of days. Scan date 31/08
