DLA wait times part 26

Anxiously waiting, scan date 4/9.

Scan date 31/08 anyone else still waiting from this date or before? Last I heard from them was 11th December and starting to get a little worried.

@BrizzleMum84 mine was for an MR and I’ve just got through scan date 23rd November 2023 and the decision was overturned yesterday I’m so happy I could cry. Always fight for what you think your child deserves good luck everyone. We have been awarded until 2031 so no more fighting for 7 years x

@Keddie @Jneill2021 our MR was completed yesterday and we have been awarded HRC & HRM until 2031 I’m so happy I could cry. Good luck and keep me posted on yours please x

thank you for the reply, the lady on the phone said they’ve sent a letter with reasons and she didn’t say I could do a MR over the phone just to wait for letter!
it’s such a long wait isn’t it which makes the decline that little bit more frustrating!

Can't believe you were declined and it turns out you are entitled to HRC HRM, that's outrageous! I'm glad your DC got what they deserve after such a long wait and MR @Ilovemychildren123 just shows gotta keep going even though it's so energy consuming 🙁

@ToddlerandTeen we were awarded HRC but the mobility side was refused said we didn’t provide enough information for SMI so I sent a letter in from nursery and 8 weeks later we have been awarded. It’s such a relief but also makes you realise never to give up x

I'm trying to call them but keep getting kicked out after picking the options Lol.

@BrizzleMum84 that happened to me I think I got to hold after the 5th or 6th attempt xx

Does anyone know when I would receive the backdate? Got award text on Monday but nothing else and I can't get through on phones and keep getting cut off!! How long did you guys wait x

Scan date 16/8 just had a phone call from DM and a decision will be made this afternoon. I’m going to ring back up about 3pm to see if they can tell me the decision by then 🤞

do you have to call up to know if you’ve been declined? Or do they just send a letter saying youve been declined? starting to worry now I ain’t sent enough evidence in for new claim and only been scanned over 8 weeks ago, I’ve had 2 letters just saying up to 15 weeks but I know their taking around 20 weeks

We rang today and have been awarded HRC and LRM, our scan date was 28/9. Hope all of you waiting get your decision soon xxx

Oh no 😢 Did they give you a reason on the call? What was your scan date. I think I will be declined (just a feeling) xx
