@Jneill2021 Sorry to hear the kids are poorly! I hope they get better soon? I am trying my best to hold off calling this week, not heard anything at all xx

Leapeapea · 17/01/2024 10:08

I called at 9am today. Got through after 30 mins to be told my son has been awarded MRC/LRM Scan date 16/08. Recieved 3 texts in total. No payment gone into bank yet. Been awarded until April 2025. What are peoples experiences with doing the renewal? Is it quite straight forward?

Robyn81 · 17/01/2024 10:09

TanSav95 · 17/01/2024 10:14

Scan date 16/8, had a phone call from decision maker on Friday asking some questions, the decision maker then spoke to sendco at school yesterday. Currently on hold now trying to see what’s going on.

Ilovemychildren123 · 17/01/2024 10:16

Charlottegirlmumto5 · 17/01/2024 10:18

@Loumumoftwo hopefully 🤞but my friends child has lots of issues and shes had to reapply every year. Think it depends on dm x

Keddie · 17/01/2024 10:18

@Ilovemychildren123 Thats annoying for you! Fingers crossed for tomorrow x

mamaneedswine · 17/01/2024 10:23

I've just phoned this morning at 9am and waited 30 mins to speak with someone.

Scan date 20/09, was told it's with a case manager now, expect a decision by 7th March the latest (which would put me at 24 wks), but likely to be sooner.

They told me to send in the CAMHS referral and any other updates and it will go straight to the cm so I will do that today.

Toni1228 · 17/01/2024 10:29

I know been asked a million times but does anyone know the address for extra evidence thanks

Leapeapea · 17/01/2024 10:35

My scan date was 16/08. called this morning to find out I was awarded yesterday.

So shocked as I didn’t think I sent enough evidence in. Only evidence I sent was letter from Senco at school. I did fill the form in quite in-depth and got a family member to complete the section ‘someone that knows your child’

was fully expecting to have to go to MR if got declined but been awarded MRC/LRM x

I have just received money from DLA so it looks like my son has been awarded! The relief is unbelievable! I haven’t actually had any paperwork to give me details does anyone know when I should expect it?

do they award for a certain amount of time or is it totally individual?

scan date was 27/09
