@SSarah260486 Hi, if you get middle or low rate dla you get low rate disibility element on uc, only get high rate disibility element on uc if you get high rate dla so will be the low rate for you, hope this helps

Got through really quickly, I'm on week 16 and was told that I haven't yet reached a decision maker, but I'm on two text and three letters.

Thank you @Sarah260486 . Trying to call but the call ended whilst I was waiting and they asked me to do that survey at the end 😭 I never spoke to anyone. I don't mind waiting, but having the call cutting off once you have been on hold for 20mins is not good

rang this morning my scan date is 28/09
Was told to expect a decision around arpril with current waiting times she did say this varies and changes all of the time so it could be before then, was expecting to hear soon,I guess I have a long wait yet

Mid April would take it to 27 weeks, so I think she was being a dick! Some of them get a kick out of gaslighting us, I swear.

My scan date is the day after yours. I'm hoping mid February. (That would make it 19/20 weeks ish)

Edited to add: they are already doing early Sept dates, so stands to reason late Sept shouldn't take till April (I get that they sometimes quote worst case scenario, but good grief)

Scan date 7/9 was just awarded called and found out, I did not get a text, am delighted good luck to everyone on here xxxx

I rang this morning for COC my scan date is 5/9 and she said it’s a 27 week wait 😳 so still got a while to wait

@kcg24 great news!! My scan date is 14th Sept. Haven't heard anything yet, so will see if I get any news this week. 🤞🏽🤞🏽 everyone :) there has to be a easier system than a 20 plus week wait. It's unreal.

@RRainbowZebraWarrior yeah possibly, hopefully it's before then, have seen alot of people from the beginning of September getting decisions so was hoping around end of the month to mid Feb to hear back no point ringing back any time soon, will wait another few weeks before I call again

I’m on week 16 and I haven’t heard anything, apart from a letter to say that they’ve got my forms. I may write to my MP, I’m sick of this. My child’s hospital appointments have been cancelled and rescheduled until the summer. Which will be another referral and another long wait !!

Can anyone help? I’ve just managed to get through, the lady on the phone couldn’t get on to the system properly, she told me a decision has been made but couldn’t tell me anything further, she did say though the case has been closed by the decision maker and I’ll get a letter with the decision, does this mean it’s declined if the case has been closed? Any help or similar experience would be much appreciated x

Same!!! I'm week 16 and been told it's not even with a decision maker. His medication is costing me £100+ each month.

I rang this morning and my scan date is 25/09 and I was told 2-4 weeks.

I'm just about to start a claim for dd4. Looks like this will be a long process. For dd3 about 5 years ago, I had to go to tribunal even with a whole load of evidence.

@Mummytoviboys hope you get good news, decision got made sat 13th for me, I got no text so should be this week, call up next few days if you don’t hear at 9 am should get through xxx

Talk about conflicting statements ! Just spoke to someone and she said it’s taking about 18/19 weeks. Our case is with the decision maker, she couldn’t give me an idea on timescales but hopefully that’s a good sign !

Hiya I’m COC and I’m 17/08 a decision was made last week just waiting letters now. I’m guessing you should hear in the next few weeks, when I called I was told 2 weeks so I sent extra evidence in but looks like the extra wasn’t seen as called 2 days later n a decision had been made. When I was told 2 weeks it hadn’t even been given to a case manager and was in a holding queue,. so I don’t actually know how 2 days later it got see n too.

@EEFO1234 Im the same scan date and been told about the 3rd week in feb this morning when i called. Its crazy how many people are being told different but with similar scan dates 🤦‍♀️
