Some good news! Scan date the 08/09 just had text to say approved not sure what rate but I am over the moon! Hope you all get the outcome you need! Don’t be set back for mr I had to do this with first child all I did was send anymore evidence I had wrote another intense letter and sent it off he was 12 at the time, then had a call from a lovely lady asked couple of questions and then told me she would make a decision and it was approved the same day! Does anyone know what rates they usually award adhd?

I'm 8/9/23 aswell no text so far so I'm nervous now. Tbh I'm expecting a no we are undiagnosed so don't have alot of evidence

I've just seen that you have around the same evidence as me so that gives me some hope. Only thing is I didn't have a copy of the adhd refferal I only send the ieps in and that was sent late like October or November because I didn't realise a SEND plan was an IEP and I didn't ring to check they received them because I work 5 days a week, and would never be able to get through. I did also get a short supporting statement from his teacher so im hoping that helps. I pray he gets a yes will allow me to get him some 1 to 1 tuition and some behavioural support 🙏

Cjbabs1986 · 13/01/2024 16:40

kcg24 · 13/01/2024 16:42

Mummytoviboys · 13/01/2024 17:06

@Cjbabs1986
congrats, hoping I hear next week 🤞

Rellz · 13/01/2024 19:07

I keep seeing that it’s hard to get HRC without bundles of evidence.

Just putting this here for anyone who’s worried. I didn’t send any evidence but was very comprehensive on the form. I just wasn’t in the right headspace to gather evidence at that time and didn’t send any. I believe they sought medical records and called the school and she got HRC… send in what you have but just make sure you are very detailed on the form.

Good luck everyone

Leeuk1 · 13/01/2024 22:06

We received the first letter 4 days after sending forms does that mean confirmation of Scan date

Because it says up to 15 week's and you don't have to call

tiredmum1989 · 13/01/2024 23:30

Hi don’t know if anyone else has had this happen or not but it’s making me anxious so thought I’d ask.

I sent my sons form at the start of September. I’ve had no letter with scan date on but they did send a request for his birth certificate. I’ve been really late responding with the birth certificate and I’m just wondering if anyone knows if he’s been taken out the queue if you know what I mean while they wait for his birth certificate. I’m kicking myself.

I’m going to give the latest evidence I’ve sent some time To get there - I posted it on Friday so does anyone have any idea when it will likely be scanned in? I want to ring to check, I was thinking maybe end of the week which will have been 6 or 7 days since I sent it but maybe that’s too early?

No, it doesn't get taken out of the queue.

I believe it takes a couple of weeks for new evidence to be received and scanned at the minute (at least that's what a couple of posters have been told recently) Might be worth ringing to check after a week, though. Can't harm.

2Tired4Anything · 14/01/2024 02:09

Good luck everyone. Can’t believe how long it takes.

Loup19863 · 14/01/2024 09:00

@tiredmum1989 I had to send a copy of my little boys birth certificate. Sent it special delivery and to my surprise I received it back the next day so they were really quick with mine x

Sarahdestiny · 14/01/2024 10:07

Coming up to 15 weeks since Scan date this week hoping it will be no longer than 4 to 5 more weeks wait fingers crossed with any luck sooner #wishfulthinking

Thank you, this is reassuring as I was the same filling my sons out…the form is detailed but very little evidence sent with it.

I believe people have had texts at the weekend and calls from the DM before (I'm coming up 18 weeks 😬)

Moonandstars83 · 14/01/2024 12:47

Just over 18 weeks ( scan 7/9) I attempted to call on Friday, and hit the wrong options number. The guy I got through too was really polite and said it's currently 18 to 20 weeks but moving quite fast. He couldn't give me any info on the claim as its a different system that he was logged in to. When I did eventually get through to the correct department I was on hold for an hour until I was cut off. I've decided to just sit it out for the next couple of weeks and hope for the best outcome.

JMommy2023 · 14/01/2024 13:46

Scan date 26/10/23 so hopefully hear something soon. Very worried I haven’t filled the form out properly and sent in enough evidence due to being overwhelmed by stress and depression.

do I need to gather more evidence and send in or leave it ?

congrats everyone who’s been awarded and good luck to those waiting 😊

Mum2scarlett · 14/01/2024 15:32
