I am autistic and literal not rude.
I was stating that 01/09 is 18weeks 3day till today because i have the same scan date as you🤷‍♀️

Because i also have experience of DLA i was also stating they wont see 19weeks until it falls on the date, which would be this friday? So i was sharing experience, same as you were sharing yours on this thread. It is your prerogative to perceive my reply the way you have taken it but that is not what i did. I stated a fact in terms of dates, and then shared my ‘own’ experience. Not once did i use bad language, swear or advise you what to do.

Scan date( new claim 4/10 ) 2 year old son diagnosed Autism non verbal Very challenging behaviours He should be in criteria for HRM & no Mobility until he's 3 - 5 Fingers crossed Currently started a new nursery today due to his other 1 not being able to meet his needs ..new nursery are great and already taking action to refer him on speech & language also looking on a ehcp plan to get the ball rolling in the next few months ..

Scan date (Renewal 17/10 ) . 10 year old son diagnosed ADHD & ASD Currently on HRC & LRM
Hoping he gets this again Currently on 3 types of medication 2 for his adhd & 3 for his sleep also still incontinence and with the incontinence team he is also very challenging with behaviours and taking a lot of time

Currently on hold for a update but not expecting a decision for both until beginning of febuary as my sons renewal is up in febuary i belive he is entitled to HRM also my 2 year old when is at the right age for this hoping 1 of them get it atleast as they both should be entitled to this if not it will be another long wait for a MR but this wait is long enough and puts me off doing a MR already 😆

I’ve just had a missed call and paranoid it’s somebody from DLA. Does anybody know if they call from a no caller ID number? Also do they leave voicemails as I’ve had nothing. Probably a cold call but getting my hopes up. Scan date 30/08 x

hellooo, does anyone have a clue what this could possibly mean from UC? I was (finally!) awarded last week, and updated UC with the caring element and the HRC element then popped a message in my journal asking for it to be backdated.
I've had a reply saying 'DLA and caring for someone has not been verified the backdating will be sent to a decision maker and the outcome shown in your journal' I don't understand the whole 'not been verified' bit 🤯

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me I rang to apply for dla I not is taking between 15-20 weeks for a decision so I’m a long way away yet as I no it will likely be April time I hear something I only phoned on 13th November, I received a letter to say they received the forms on 22/11/23 does anyone no if it’s 15-20 weeks from the day you ring up or from when they recieved the forms back thanks in advance x

Scan date 08/09
rang last week to be told it was taking 17wks!
took that with a pinch of salt as I was 17 was last Friday!
she also said I will hear vey soon 🤷🏼‍♀️
this new claim is for my 9month old son who has a genetic disorder and severely partially sighted!
im also waiting on a renewal for my 11yr old with the same conditions, ASD and ADHD, he’s currently on MRC and HRM! I’m hoping he’ll be moved up to HRC, when he was first awarded as a baby he didn’t have his diagnosis of ASD and ADHD! His renewal runs out end of feb so been told it won’t be looked at until a week before!

Well... won't be hearing any time soon, just had another txt saying they're still looking at the claim... funny thing is they aren't, we all wait this time to be dumped in a queue waiting to be allocated to a dm/cm. 24/09 scan date, good luck for those earlier than me, fingers crossed 🤞 you all get decisions and award

I just had the text, too. Scan date is 29/9 (I think) I've been getting a bit lost off date wise as I had my own PIP change of needs claim go in the week after DDs DLA claim. I think I'm just past 14 weeks for the DLA claim Happy to say I was awarded PIP at both enhanced rates last Friday, so can focus completely on this now.

Ive just had my 2nd text saying the same mines scan date 28/09

I’m 26/9 just received my second text, my form took 2 weeks to be scanned In which missed the return date of the 21/9 so will I miss out on the back pay back to when I rang for the forms does anyone know? Thanks.

Finally got through to them. My DD has been awarded Middle Rate Care! 🥹 So happy!

I did apply for Mobility, but because she was 4 when I applied they couldn’t award it her even though she turned 5 a month after they received the form and even though they have just sorted her claim out now and she’s been 5 for four months now. So I have been sent a form to reapply for mobility.
I guess I will be back here soon. 🥴
