Scan date 21/08
Just rang to be told it's still not on a desk 🙃😂 it's in the holding queue still. I did ask how come it's taking so long and she said it was done in date order. I said well September's are getting decisions. She said the case holder that has my claim is still on the beginning of August claims so it goes in date order so I'm looking at another 4 weeks 😂😓

4 weeks 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ You’re at 19 weeks now though! I’m 23/08.

flea101 · 03/01/2024 09:13

Just called re change of circumstances. Scanned 15/8 was told 11 weeks then 15. Have called several times been told today it still isn't with a decision maker, looking at another 4 weeks. They can't do anything until it has gone over 20 weeks. I have requested it is looked at urgently, things are pretty desperate (as I know it will be for many). On the plus side I got straight through at 9 am

Ash894 · 03/01/2024 09:14

25/8 Just rang and got straight through, was told its not on a desk yet but should be this week, I'll believe it when I see it

Linacre96 · 03/01/2024 09:17

I’m 01/09 just been told be another 2 weeks taking upto 20 weeks 🤷‍♀️but as of yet not with a decision maker

RaychieBee · 03/01/2024 09:17

@Tylerjade89 you can phone and ask but I've just phoned and I'm a week behind you to be told another 4 weeks. I'm week 19 on Monday.
@Linacre96 you'd think they would try and catch up with August's before starting September's wouldn't you 😂 my pile with the CM was at the beginning of August 2/3 weeks ago so the way it's going I'm looking at another 2 months 😂

Linacre96 · 03/01/2024 09:21

@RaychieBee im still in holding que she said I’ll put message on to text you when you’ve had a decision then you can ring up to find out what it is 🤷‍♀️but I’d say another 2 weeks but yet you’ve been told 4 weeks 🤣

Tylerjade89 · 03/01/2024 09:25

@RaychieBee Oh wow! Another 4 weeks!! That's just crazy. They need someone to help that person clear their backlog as that's really behind. Iv seen people who sent in September get decisions. I wish it made more sense. Why allocate to someone who is behind when others aren't 🤯

Kezzia87 · 03/01/2024 09:28

Just come off the phone, scan date 11/08 still with a decision maker! Been with them since 08/12.. god knows what they are doing, doesn’t seem in order to me.. I’ll just ring back Friday and hope for someone more helpful

funinthesun19 · 03/01/2024 09:32

23/08. I’ve just spoken to them, and the lady I spoke to said my DD’s claim is now with a DM. She said it won’t be until next week when I get a decision though 🙃.

2010crazyboymum · 03/01/2024 09:38

@RaychieBee so by Easter at the rate of these DMs? Crazy.

Tmpoftwo · 03/01/2024 09:51

Scan date 21/08/23
Just phoned and been told it's with a DM and should hear either this week or next week.

RaychieBee · 03/01/2024 10:14

It's amazing some of these decision dates!
I was told I'm looking at 24 weeks in middle of December and looks like he wasn't wrong 😂

Hotpinkangel19 · 03/01/2024 10:18

Scan date 21/9 so on 15 weeks now. Spoke to them today and said should be 4-5 weeks as claims are taking 20 weeks.

Hood1991 · 03/01/2024 10:19

Scan date 17/8 has anyone been awarded yet? Thanks

Nanto4 · 03/01/2024 10:51

@Hood1991 14/8 no nothing been with DM since 18/12

Sunshinesun · 03/01/2024 11:44

Hello All.
First time applying. Scan Date 14/09. I’ve had two text messages (21/11 and Today) and a letter saying 15 weeks. Has anyone been awarded around this time? I’ve seen some posts on FB about September being awarded.
Also, has anyone ever had a DM call them? What is this like? I’m actually hoping they do call me as I will be able to elaborate more about the claim. Thank you ☺️

Hotpinkangel19 · 03/01/2024 11:49

I also got a text today - funny as i called to chase up this morning!

AndrewGarfieldsLaptop · 03/01/2024 11:49

Just got the second text. Apparently still looking at the claim. I'm on week 14.

AndrewGarfieldsLaptop · 03/01/2024 11:49

Did we all get texts today???

Leah0708 · 03/01/2024 11:50

Hi I've just received a text today saying we are still looking at your dla child claim.
Does that mean it's with the decision maker?

Mumof6boys1girl · 03/01/2024 11:55

@Hood1991 same scan date heard nothing although on Friday I called to be told was with case manager

Mamof31 · 03/01/2024 11:55

I’m on 16 weeks just had text today saying still looking at claim.

Kelly1910 · 03/01/2024 11:57

Long time watcher Scan date 30/8 exactly 18 weeks today, 2 letters received and 3 texts, last text 11/12, called today to get an update, apparently claim is in a holding queue and will be assigned to a DM shortly, if I don’t hear by next week to call again, the lady informed me that decisions are taking 18 weeks!!!!! Yeah right

Toni1228 · 03/01/2024 11:58

Week 17 just had the txt aswel, can’t see anything happening anytime soon. Told myself won’t ring till end of the month and to try forgot about it but it’s literally impossible for it not to play on your mind x

RaychieBee · 03/01/2024 12:09

Texts that say we are still looking at your claim means nothing. It could still be in the holding queue, assigned to a Case Manager or on a desk.

19 weeks and 3 days so far. Been told another 4 weeks. Yet was told last week that claims are being decided by 19weeks 🤯
