DLA Wait times part 24

Continuing on from part 23 as it was getting full

I have had a message on my UC to say the update i made doesnt match the records and need to provide further evidence so i can get disabled child elememt i rang and they said everything iv said matches what it says on the records but iv still got to attend the appointment on the 19th 🙄 anyone else had this and how long after was the backpay granted?

@cocoapple mine was 13th Nov scan date 17th august

Scan date 14/08 called today and was told its in a queue to go to decision maker. Had 2 texts last one 13 November. Hopelessly waiting on 2 claims for both children been reading everyone's comments which help alot thanks 😊

scan date 15/8 rang today they said another 3 weeks

They seem to just make it up as they go along! Or to keep you off the phones. If you phoned tomorrow you'd be told something different it's madness.

100% they just say anything that’s why I can’t be bothered ringing. How can someone with the date 14/8 be told it’s in a queue to go to a dm and someone with a 15/8 date be told another 3 weeks🙄

They should by now have an online system of being able to track these things ourselves. It would save soo much phone clogging.

we're the 14th @doingmybest23 and I was told to expect a decision between Christmas and New Year, I honestly can't understand where they get their information from to pass on to us 🤦🏼‍♀️

I rang a week ago to be told that my claim wasn't even being looked at and won't be for the next 4 weeks and then another 2 weeks for a decision. I was also told that claims were taking 23+ weeks but I've got hope mine will be done soon 🥰

Hi everyone been following this thread I have a scan date of 10/08 and had a text (my only ever text) at 3.30pm to say my son qualifies , thank goodness he will now get what he needs, hang in there everyone a long process but it will reach the end

Hey, been following for a while from a distance, my scan date 10/8.
I decided today to take the plunge and call them i rung at 16.10 and got thru after 40 mins which surprised me, the lady told me my son got awarded was so shocked when she said as i was expecting a decline as this was my 1st claim as didn't realise i could. I didn't receive a text to say he'd been awarded and because i was so shocked i didnt actually ask anything else. Good luck to everyone all our children deserve this. ❤️

Hi I was awared on monday. Took 15 weeks from sending off claim to be declined todo an mr to getting a decision. Does anyone know what day the money will likely be in? Thanks 😊

Im the 14/8 sorry i edited it because i put 14/10 but it's scan date 14/8, I called today and she said it will be looked at before Christmas fingers crossed everyone we hear soon, the not knowing is excruciating xx

Can I ask what we will be entitled to from UC?
I work full time so won't be entitled to carers allowance so is it the carers element om uc and how do I notify them? Waiting to find out the rate my son has been awarded first. Thanks xx

How do you find your scan dates? I can't get through on the phones and the anxiety is killing me! I sent it off 24/8

@Anne92 I sent mine on the 3rd sept then on the first letter it said the received it and it was put on the system on the 12th (something like that) so that’s 9 days after I sent so give or take 8-10 days from sending will be your scan date or it might say on your first letter and you just didn’t notice x
