DLA Wait times part 24

Continuing on from part 23 as it was getting full

No lovely, nothing yet looking at some of the posts it seems people are being paid or accepted after the 7th which is confusing order if it depends on who has that stack of cases. I haven't had anything through though myself so 🤷 😕. Guess it is just a wait game now, I don't know whether to ring after work and see where it is just can't bare the thought of waiting on hold to be told no news lol x

...the lady this morning said upto 5 working days for a decision and I will get a text.

I've just missed a call and now feeling really stressed. I only get a 30 minute break and doubt that'll be long enough to wait on hold. Why do they usually call?

I have sent extra evidence last week next day delivery sign for. It was received following day on a Friday and scanned in the system on Monday.

Anyone any updates on how long UC are taking. They told me it went to a decision maker on the 6th and still nothing from UC regards the disabled child element being added.

@Shade87 I got awarded on two separate claims on the 29th nov and still have no text from either!

@LmumL @Shade87 I've just had a call from the DM, he was lovely. Confirmed bank details and said he will send me a text today. xx

@MummytoJacob14 he said I had missed a question about if the child had 12 months or less to live and needed to confirm bank details. He rang and I missed the call, I got a text from DLA saying they would call back between 11.55 and 12 then he called again. xx

@5anddone congratulations to you so happy your wait is over, I called yesturday and just rude man very unhelpful said about 3 weeks minimum, the wait is exhausting x

@TashaHnH24 honestly don’t know how there systems work, it’s so exhausting having to wait so long, I’ve given up calling now I’m just going to wait, let me know if hear anything x

My daughers claim as been with dm since Monday not heard anything yet called today said its with cm no decision made as off yet said am looking after Christmas for decision so frustrating waiting so long it will be 19 weeks Monday

Some on hear got a call to say they been awarded fingers cross for u xx

I know the wait is so frustrating hun, hopefully we hear something before they finish next week 🤞🏼. If I see or hear anything from them I'll let you know babs xx

Question for those who have been awarded recently…how long did it take for the letter to come through?

Hi all quick one I am still awaiting decision but I have changed my bank account in the months we've been waiting. Do I need to contact DLA to tell them? Thanks

I've just had the text that my daughter qualifies. Went to DM yesterday, scan date 09/08. Good luck to everyone still waiting x

just got off the phone was only on hold 40 minutes 😱
they said it’s with a case manager and I should have a decision by the end of the week 🤞

Thank you! Really feel for everyone still waiting, I was really surprised to get the text so soon, 18 weeks to the day since scan date, really thought we would be waiting a long time. Called for the rates and got what we were expecting. Really hope you all get good news soon x
