@MangoPepsiLover i had been looking to see where you had got to with your UC etc. Mine hasn’t even been dealt with yet they still have it with a DM. It’s really rubbish they declined you. How can they decline special circumstances? I would be putting an appeal in for that x

Moonandstars83 · 18/12/2023 17:08

Just received 3rd text. Only got the second on the 5th. Scan date 7/9.

@MangoPepsiLover They didn't give a reason just said they didn't accept the reason for it.

Got my daughter's letter today!! Scan date 10/8

FloofCloud · 18/12/2023 17:21

She's given higher rate, but lower rate mobility so I'm going to send a form to ask them to reconsider. I can hardly leave the house with her unless we're in the car, safe space for her due to sensory overload, she faints and switches off when she gets overloaded so need safe space if out and about - it's a bloody nightmare especially when she just faints 🥺

NeuroDmummy · 18/12/2023 17:28

@MangoPepsiLover ive seen it happen a lot to people on facebook. Tell them you want them to look at it again and reiterate you could t report the change of circumstances within the ap due to being awarded at a later date but the award dates back to June. They seem to do it a lot but on asking them to look again they often award!
I’m sick of waiting for them to even just consider mine. Nightmares they are.

Mummyto2beautifulangeltwins · 18/12/2023 17:29

@Mummyto2beautifulangeltwins Yeah I told them as soon as I got the letter which about 4 days after I'd called DLA to be told the award and only a day or so after the backpay

StephXx1 · 18/12/2023 17:34

@MangoPepsiLover thats absolutely disgusting! Surely they can’t do that! Why is everything such a constant battle! Xx

Mummyto2beautifulangeltwins · 18/12/2023 17:38

@MangoPepsiLover

Tbh I've had a right mess on with uc ,Agent said I hadn't informed them of the change ,which I had on the 21st of November even received a payment for the dc element.
I'd had enough and went in to my local jobcentre.
All sorted within a hour now with a dm who has to response by the end of the Week as the evidence was already there on my journal from November the agent didn't look properly.

How can they decline it ,its under special circumstances you where awaiting the decision from dla .
Honestly I really wouldn't leave it ,Contact your local mp .

cocoapple · 18/12/2023 17:39

For anyone who’s informed uc, how long did it take for them to get in touch? I updated them via my journal Friday morning but not heard anything from them yet

Mum2onebeauifulgirl · 18/12/2023 17:42

Lisarmummy · 18/12/2023 18:05

Hey a scan buddy, the wait seems to go on and on forever

Poll85 · 18/12/2023 18:12

@Lauren2121 i had my letter today and it said the money will be paid by 19/12

TiredFairy81 · 18/12/2023 18:52

Called at 3:30 today and got through at 5pm 🙈

My daughter was awarded MRC on Wednesday. A little disappointed as was hoping for HRC due to sleep issues. Not sure whether to do MR or leave it.

Wondering if I should send in a letter that the health visitor has wrote to the hospital to support the GP referral for sleep issues to evidence that it's a big issue.

Scan date 08/08

Tammy198311 · 18/12/2023 19:08

Does feel like forever

NeuroDmummy · 18/12/2023 19:23

@Lauren2121 @cocoapple i updated UC on 29th November and I haven’t had anything yet. It didn’t go to a decision maker until the 6th and it’s still with them. Some people are dealt with in a week some like me are waiting weeks with no response. I’ve called them twice too but they are just not interested.

Lauren2121 · 18/12/2023 19:38

@Poll85 okay great Thankyou for letting me know x
