DLA Wait times PART 23…. (2023)

Following on from part 22 as it is about to become full! 😊

@Linacre96 my scan date is 31/8 same text dates as you 7/11, 28/11,
11/12-today. Long wait. The first and only time I rang them to ask if they had got my forms. The woman on the phone said it should all be done by 8th Jan. However I don't think this is going to happen as its only the start of August that are getting decisions now and being christmas soon I think it's going to probably be endish of January. Good luck I hope your child gets what they are entitled to

Seems like third text is going to those lost couple of weeks of August. Wondering if there the ones who will be after xmas?

@Ash135 yeah I think will be after Christmas, as lady on phone when I first rang said should be sorted by 8th January. I'm not holding out hopes tho as people are only just getting awarded for first week or so of august.

Has anyone been awarded from 08/08 as of yet?

At least with the texts there is some reassurance we haven’t been forgotten I guess (clutching at straws trying to be positive here). I hope everybody gets their decisions soon. I’m sure I saw a couple of people with end of August scan dates already got their decisions?

@Ash135 a couple of random dates throughout august and a 07/08 yesterday.

Im 07/08 and it’s with a CM now and has been since last Thursday.

Thank you, I haven't got time to sit on hold. Will wait until end of week and hope to hear something before ringing, the hold time is horrendous. Fingers crossed for you x

@Mummyj823 I think they send like a week at a time to DM them they spend week going threw them tbf because I got told mine should be done first week in January but I’m gunna try forget about it till I get to January, I think how behind the DM is aswell that’s why they do them Monday-Sunday as my daughters COC was done on a Saturday morning this is for my 2 year old son I only sent off evidence last Friday so hopefully scanned on before they look at it

New to all this but appreciate the posts as this has kept me going after calling and waiting.

Last text was 31/10
Called 29th Nov and was told timescales have been pushed back to 20 weeks. May hear something week commencing 19th is this same for anyone else? Worried its not going to through but got lots more evidence since forms originally sent

I've just got off the phone and he's been awarded MRC & HRM... I sobbed down the phone... I just can't believe it 🥹. This is going to open so many doors for him.

Thank you ever so much lovely, I'm so relieved ❤️. Feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I now know I can get my son the added support which will improve his quality of life ❤️.
That wait has just been awful!
Defo go for MR if your little girl needs it lovely. A new DM looking over her claim, a new set of eyes will hopefully get her the outcome she needs and deserves. Always here if you need anything xx
