@Lauren2121 thankyou, I hope you hear soon I would have been at 18 weeks tomorrow so looks like mine was done yesterday.
I just logged on to my online banking and it was showing as pending for Tuesday. Will be keeping everything crossed for you!

When i update my uc tomorrow because my son was changed from medium rate to high rate does anyone know how long it takes for back pay because it would massively help at the moment especially with christmas round the corner and my uc is due on the 19th so does anyone reckon it will be dealt with before then?

@Mummyvic123 Congratulations 🎊 !!! This is giving me a bit of hope. My scan date is 08/08. Looks like I need to change bank 😅, I was never able to see incoming payments with Halifax...so annoying!!

Can't see in my bank either. Scan date 04/08 .was with dm Thursday morning. Haven't heard a thing.

@Mum2onebeauifulgirl you will need to wait until the letter arrives from DLA where it states what your daughter has been awarded etc. Once you have that you can upload it onto the UC system as proof that your daughter has been awarded. You will then have your commitments changed, and once you have that letter you can put a note in your journal asking them to do the backpay for the disability element and the carer's element. Some DWP systems "talk" to each other, I think the one for Carer's Allowance does pick up when someone is awarded DLA but UC doesn't always automatically receive that information. That's why you'll need the award letter for proof.

@Mandolaurian Thank you hopefully the letter will arrive next week as had descion made for my daughter on Tuesday and had the backpayment from dla , and when the dm phone me Tuesday to asked me a couple of questions she told me I don't have to wait for the letter to update as I need to wait till Wednesday so it on the system and everyone can see it , but thank you for your help

@Mum2onebeauifulgirl I didn't have to wait for the letter aslong as dla have told you what you have been awarded you can tell uc straight away I done the change of circumstances and put a note under payment and work coach asking for it be backdated and it was I didn't have to upload anything as proof. Mine was done and backpay within 3 days xx

Hi has anyone on here done an MR over the phone? I started mine last week, they advised 2-3 weeks for a decision? But can uyou actually trust there dates?? any feedback appreciated x

Update for everyone with scan date 04/08 I have just received a txt message saying my daughter has been awarded! I'm so relieved! On a sunday aswel ! Shocked !Good luck to everyone still waiting

@Rebeccanew me too !! They still have not loked at my further evidence i sent before they made a decision, i called and added some notes. They tried to say my daughter needed no extra care. i added that she is an identical twin and her sister is not diagnosed and therefore she does require more of my care and attention. She does have a plan in place for school when they said she didnt and also ignored her medication.... so annoying ! I asked for it to be dealt with urgently and with a new DM, been 10 days so far. Advised it could be 2 - 3 weeks. will keep you updated xx

Ohh lord @Keddie I don’t get when all the evidence you have there and they say your child doesn’t need extra care…I defo think asking for a diffo decision maker is the best bet lovely! Stay positive hun you’ll get this mr but defo keep me updated lovely xxxxxxx

Amy92x unfortunately I have to wait I know what rates my daughter gets, I still have to do my work commitments until I get the letter and still have to attend the job centre too , I updated caring for my daughter and did message under payments to asked for backpay and message to my work coach too as people said on here I copy the thing on here people said they did but it didn't work for me maybe area , I don't know it the first for me but it ok hopefully the letter come before my next jobcentre appointment what is Wednesday
