DLA wait times… part 22 (2023)

morning all i finaly call now waited for 48 mins, my claim is with the DM he was really nice man to be honest, he said when a claim is with a décision maker it can take a matter of hours or weeks to know the décision, no timescale.
at teast he was polite😂 even though it still leave us in limbo.

@Amy92x finally got through a lovely lady said should be with a dm by end of week so fingers crossed for us 🤞🏼

Anyone been awarded from the scan date of the 20th July ?

On hold now scan date 26/7 theyve changed the phone line again saying it can take up to 20 weeks, so I assume some complaints have been made 😆 congrats to anyone who's had an award recently, good luck to those still waiting

Keeping my fingers crossed for my daughter's MR. It was submitted 25 October, was told MR decisions taking 3 to 5 weeks at the moment. Told Thursday evening it was with DM and to give it a week before calling back. Does it usually take this long or should I call for an update today?

Gave in and called this morning. Was told it won’t even go to a dm until it’s been 18 weeks (this Thursday) then it will go that day (being told something different yet again and we know that’s not how it works). He said it’s in a holding queue which is the most I’ve been told so far. Will not call again until next week now. Scan date - 27/7

19/07 scan date, been with DM since last Monday, on hold now for an update. Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting

Hi Everyone, My last text was on 16th October, is anyone else still waiting this long? I thought I might’ve heard something over the weekend. I can’t call unfortunately because I’m working. 😩

DM looked at claims over the weekend, Rang up at 9am scan date for both children 21/07, both have been awarded mrc and lrm for suspected adhd and asd till july 2025, I literally cried. Good luck to everyone waiting

@Shilli84 they say all sort of things so i dont even know if i beleive. i will not call again .

Still waiting for a decision the wait is so long, lady last week said I would defiently get a txt if awarded, so just a waiting game fingers crossed to all waiting xx

@Vampiredette84 thanks for letting me know really praying it's this week 🙏 it's such a long wait!! About a month or so ago I was told on the 27th I would have a decision but I knew he was just saying whatever at that point.

Awarded this morning HRC and LRM till July 2025!!!

@MangoPepsiLover i couldn't sleep last night so i went into my banking app and low and behold there was a pending payment for DLA. i have been awarded it but still no text to let me know.
scan date 21/07 Good luck to all waiting, it is a really stressful time.

I was awarded on Thursday with scan date of 20th July & nope not yet @MangoPepsiLover

@Mummynic725 i found out in the middle of the night that we had been awarded. It showed up in pending transactions. still no text confirming it so hoping to receive a letter soon. Good luck 🍀
