Mammyto4c · 20/11/2023 10:37

HelloNeighbour2021 · 20/11/2023 10:39

Good luck everyone 19/7 rang this morning it’s with the DM, it wasn’t when I rang Friday morning so fingers crossed.

Mummyof5kiddos · 20/11/2023 10:39

Just got off the phone, she’s added I’m waiting on a report from educational psychologist and a referral to neurology to my claim, not sure if it will help. It’s with DM and she said it shouldn’t be to much longer. Scan date 19/7

Hardingcl · 20/11/2023 10:41

Kelseeyx · 20/11/2023 10:42

Going to try again later, driving me insane 😂

Helentwinsplus1 · 20/11/2023 10:42

Low rate care, no mobility. Looks like a mandatory reconsideration for me :(

Mummyof5kiddos · 20/11/2023 10:44

@Mammyto4c Congratulations, they seems to be getting through 17/7 and 18/7 quick

ellabellaof2 · 20/11/2023 10:46

Does anyone know if they text to let you know it’s been declined or is it just in the letter? Thank you!

Helentwinsplus1 · 20/11/2023 10:46

I'm really cross. His needs are the greatest of all my kids and yet they are on mid rate care and low rate mobility. I'm devastated. Last thing I need is this

Marie984 · 20/11/2023 10:47

Rang at 9.07 and literally just spoke to someone 10.40 so good luck all waiting on hold, they’ve received the MR stuff I’ve sent and advised at the minute they are taking 4/5 weeks to work..

MammyAng84 · 20/11/2023 10:50

From what I’ve seen there’s 2 types of txts people have received, 1 says we have awarded ur child the other says a decision but I don’t know if they r different or just worded different

sabz300 · 20/11/2023 10:53

Hi, just got off the phone after waiting an 1 hour and 10 mins. Forms finally been sent to a decision maker today. Scan date 19/07. Hopefully will hear back soon x

Jaffacakesrlife · 20/11/2023 10:53

@Tammie23 @Kelseeyx keep getting cut off so i will try this afternoon. xx

Kelseeyx · 20/11/2023 11:01

@Jaffacakesrlife @Tammie23 I've called 15 times, been cut off every time 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mumma3girls · 20/11/2023 11:03

I called at 9am and got straight through. Found out lg got awarded MRC last Friday. Do they not give LRM until they are 5? (My daughter is 3)..
I don’t get any other benefits, UC etc… just wondering if there is any other support I can apply for her.
not sure whether to try for some mobility tbh- she will not walk out in public at all due to freezing and anxiety.

MammyAng84 · 20/11/2023 11:06

I’m sure they only award mobility before 5 if they don’t walk at all but I may be wrong

Amy92x · 20/11/2023 11:07

Been cut off about 7 times even withheld my number and still no luck. This is honestly the longest thing I have ever done.

MammyAng84 · 20/11/2023 11:13

46 mins on hold & it cuts me off 😭😭😭

LRM can only be awarded from 5 years old and upwards.

You can get mobility awarded from 3 years old but that can only be HRM, not LRM. You can apply for HRM under two routes. One is SMI (Severe Mental Impairment) which you can only get if your child has a diagnosis. They also have to receive HRC so in your circumstances, you’d have to go via the VUW (Virtually Unable to Walk) route.

There’s a flowchart available online and every single point will have to apply to your child for you to qualify. It’s extremely difficult to get HRM but have a look at the flowchart anyway. You may be better off waiting until the renewal date and then you can apply for LRM at least

I’m 14/7 and still waiting. It’s over 18 weeks and my anxiety is through the roof. Going to try and hold off on calling today x

It's ridiculous, I haven't heard anything either

Kelseeyx · 20/11/2023 11:16

Finally on hold! Probably be a waste of time though 🙃

MammyAng84 · 20/11/2023 11:18

Anybody getting silence after the options?

ellabellaof2 · 20/11/2023 11:26

Mine hasn’t been accepted. 20 weeks of waiting and no text update to let me know. An hour and an half on hold today…Extremely frustrated and upset by the decision. I’ve been told I have to wait for the letter to find out their reasons why it’s not been accepted.

CHS100288 · 20/11/2023 11:28

45 mins on hold, the bloke I spoke to said that it won't go to a decision maker till 18 weeks which is this Friday! Said another couple of weeks!
Scan day 21/07
