@MammyAng84 @CHS100288 @Mummyof5kiddos
I've just spoken with a lovely lady but she wasn't very helpful 🙄. She said she wouldn't tell me if it was with a DM as this can cause anxiety for people! She just said that they will let me know via text or post in time and to be reassured that if claim is accepted, it will be backdated... I of course know this but she still wouldn't give any information, despite being pleasant 😔. the wait continues x

JustAboutRM · 21/11/2023 12:17

Sorry but what does COC mean?

Kelseeyx · 21/11/2023 12:17

Has anyone been accepted for their child having suspected ASD (he's currently on the waiting list to see a neurologist) also severe receptive and expressive language difficulties, sensory issues and ARFID?
Keep telling myself it's going to be declined regardless, just so I don't get my hopes up for my son.

Change of circumstances

MammyAng84 · 21/11/2023 12:18

The 18 week wait doesn’t cause anxiety 🤣🤣

LollyRiv · 21/11/2023 12:19

@MammyAng84 my thoughts exactly🤣... the not knowing where it is upto causes more anxiety 😕

I was more wondering if it got rejected would the award suddenly stop or would that decision be from the end date

Your claim is valid until the 28th of December so the award wouldn’t suddenly stop before that date. If the award was taken away at renewal then that would come into effect after the 28th of December. I hope that makes sense

Hi. 1hour 15 on hold, I'm with the DM
Good luck everyone

Mummyof5kiddos · 21/11/2023 12:27

@Kelseeyx hi I’m still waiting, hoping to get a decision in the next few days, scan date 19/7, what’s yours? My claim is similar, my son is on the waiting list for asd, adhd, neurologist, speech therapy, anxiety and has sensory issues, he’s definitely dyslexic but they won’t test him yet because hes 7 so no diagnosis yet just a lot of waiting, I’m hoping to get awarded to get him seen privately, he’s way behind in his class and with the waiting lists so long hopefully I can get him help sooner

Mummyof5kiddos · 21/11/2023 12:31

@AgaLaura2Olivia your scan date is 18/9 isn’t it?

Ames52 · 21/11/2023 12:31

Ames52 · 21/11/2023 11:44

Thanks - I'm on hold to them now (35 mins so far) so I'm guessing I'll get told the same thing. Good luck to you too xx

Same as you - was told I'm still in the queue and don't expect to hear anything until week commencing 18th December.
(scan date 03/08)

Geegee1506 · 21/11/2023 12:36

Stressedsoph1 · 21/11/2023 12:40

Ilovemychildren123 · 21/11/2023 12:40

Clairexdx · 21/11/2023 12:47

Mummyof5kiddos · 21/11/2023 12:48

Just got off the phone my son has been awarded 😭 MRC and LRM for 2 years yesterday, I feel so relieved the wait is finally over! They said he’s been awarded from 13th July but my scan date is 19/7

Alybird77 · 21/11/2023 12:51

Have just got through HRC LRM.
My boy cam now have all he needs. Thanks for the support and keeping me sane.

Scan date 14/07/23

MammyAng84 · 21/11/2023 12:57

Yay congrats on all the awards, it’s lovely knowing little people r getting what they deserve xx

Hardingcl · 21/11/2023 12:58

I got through to a lady who.sounded as if I'd just robbed her candy!! Most monotone voice in the world! Said no update yet, and I should receive a tex. The guy this morning said they don't send text out....this is why it's so frustrating!
I'm not calling again now. If its a decline I'll just do a MR. Just gonna wait for a tex if it ever arrives!

4girlsnahubby · 21/11/2023 13:01

@Geegee1506 sorry to hear your news. I'm in that club too and it's mega deflating after all this time. Don't know if i have any fight left in me

crazytimes20 · 21/11/2023 13:01

Congrats to all those being awarded!! So sorry for those that have been declined. Terrible to wait all this time for them to say no.

Kelseeyx · 21/11/2023 13:01

@Mummyof5kiddos hey! My scan date is 3/8, called yesterday and was told latest I'd hear of a decision will be 22nd December, hoping it'll be before that as the wait is killing me! Seems all we do is wait 🤦🏼‍♀️ yeah I don't blame you! I had a little look the other night about getting a private diagnosis, but obviously can't afford it. Did I just see that you've been awarded?!

MammyAng84 · 21/11/2023 13:02

I’m glutton for punishment off to ring again 🫣
