Hey I also was told that they go a day after scan date so if it’s 5/7 they go with 6/7
also scan date 5/7
called Monday they lost dd claim so had to go through all that agro with finding it then to be told they messed the claims up so I will have to wait another 2-3weeks
good luck to everyone today!!!

NatalieAnn92x · 08/11/2023 10:44

@roki scanned onto the system lovely. I was so close to going to a decision maker so needed it in on time so I sent it tracked & signed! They recieved it the next day and I rang up to make sure it had been scanned on as I wanted it looked at when it went to the DM! He double checked and said they had it & they attached it to my claim! Persistence is key. Anyone sending evidence in tracked, keep phoning and requesting for it to be added asap as some people get told it can take weeks to assign it to the claim.

UPDATE: text received to say my child has been awarded! However, no details of what, and now the phone lines are engaged so I can't find out!!

Text says: "We've decided your child qualifies for Disability Living Allowance. You don't need to contact us about this. We'll send you a letter with all you need to know. If you don't get this within 2 weeks please contact us."

Scan date 6/7

Any suggestions of the optimum time to call again to avoid phones being engaged?

Congratulations!!!!
Try calling later but you can have some peace now knowing that is a positive result.

I sent it but the guy at the post office didn't let me send it next day and tracked. He said is a freepost address so we are not supposed to do that... So I sent normally unfortunately. :(

NatalieAnn92x · 08/11/2023 10:55

@MilaMom no way really? They send mine off! I did use another address though, it was the post site in wolves? I was told to send it straight there! Keep phoning lovely!

@Alasitsme congrats!

Hi I sent my forms back 28/7 received a letter to say they had received 1/8. Be 15 weeks Friday since sending them back. Had 2 letters and 2 texts. One text 9/10 and one 31/10. Really worried about it as my friends only took 16 weeks 2 days from sending her forms back💖

BoyMumGirlMum2022 · 08/11/2023 10:57

@Kelz23 I updated my UC circumstances beginning of October, took 3 weeks for someone to reply to my message saying it was with a DM. Got the letter to say back pay had been approved Monday, then got the letter of what was was owed yesterday and payment is incoming to my bank for tomorrow. Have you had any correspondence from UC at all?

Rebeccanew · 08/11/2023 10:57

roki · 08/11/2023 11:01

Rebeccanew · 08/11/2023 11:04

@AnneD96 i would say end November/December for decision as they are at wound 18 weeks to go to decision maker hun! I know it doesn’t make sense some isn’t waiting as long as others it’s confusing! I wish we would al hear soon! Xxxxx

Kelz23 · 08/11/2023 11:06

@BoyMumGirlMum2022 no I only updated yesterday but I don’t have work coach either. So I don’t know if they get notified when I update my claim. Last time with my youngest I had to make official complaint as no one responded.

Doymum · 08/11/2023 11:09

I’m holding out till Friday, when I start to see 7/7 awarded we should be next

StephanieCee · 08/11/2023 11:09

Hi, I did my change of circumstances on the 22nd October, got a letter to say it’s been accepted on the 3rd November but haven’t heard nothing since. Tried to ring UC and they can’t tell me anything, how long does it take after been accepted x

Sammy8919 · 08/11/2023 11:14
