@NatalieAnn92x whats your scan date?? I think they just give longer times so we don’t ring tbh 😅😅 if it’s with a decision maker listen out cos I think you’ll know soon! Iv noticed it’s never taken 2 weeks to make a decision it’s normally done within a few days xxxxxxx

@Rebeccanew i reckon so too! My scan date was the 3rd of July. Went to a DM a week ago! Rang yesterday and Monday & it was still there. Have requested a text but some don’t have that service! I just want to know more than anything because if I need to prepare for a MR I want to get it done asap ukno? The longer it goes on, the longer I feel a decline coming 😫 xxxx

Give them a call if your off the 3rd id be bloody calling everyday lol! Pester them it pays off!! I think anyday this week for you defo lovely @NatalieAnn92x that’s the way I’m thinking I wanna prepare for a MR now I have more evidence also! Xxxxxxx

hi ladies i called today just to check if they have logged it my extra evidence sent and sign on the 10 of october, guest what it was only looged in last week the man explain to me , so bear in mind it take at least a month to be added to your claim . i did not even bother asking about my claim as i knew the anwer already😂.

@roki thats madness! I sent extra evidence off last Monday, tracked next day by 1pm and by Tuesday morning it was scanned into the system! 🤦‍♀️ I have no idea how they work all this stuff out!

I was so tempted to call today but holding off until Friday, it seems they keep changing their minds about wait times etc I think I will try and take my mind off it now.

I'm a week after you, so I guess the first week of December for me.
Hoping to have this still before Christmas, who knows.

@Mammyto4c I have same date as you I was going to hold off ringing until 18 weeks, but I've just seen you've been told 19 so might wait even longer.

I think it must be straight forward ones, with a lot of documents submited so they don't need to call anyone or check any info. I think some must take longer because they might need to call drs or things like that.
That is why I requested my sons dr to send me a clinical letter with all the information regarding him on the system.
I guess that is it so I tried to send a lot, but no idea why it actually is quicker for some.

UPDATE: text received to say my child has been awarded! However, no details of what, and now the phone lines are engaged so I can't find out!!

Text says: "We've decided your child qualifies for Disability Living Allowance. You don't need to contact us about this. We'll send you a letter with all you need to know. If you don't get this within 2 weeks please contact us."

Scan date 6/7

Any suggestions of the optimum time to call again to avoid phones being engaged?

hi dear scan in the system ? or received by them? strange he told me they only added mine to my claim last week even tho it was sign on the 10th of october. teal madness🤔
