I'm not calling until the 18 week mark which is next Wednesday, but I think it's going to be a no for us anyway so I'm not holding my breath.

Post here is ridiculously slow, as in I got a letter dated end of September today so I'm not certain I won't miss MR deadline if I don't call.

I think mine will be a decline to hun but we can only try as we know best if our kids require more care than others! If your worried about not making the Mr in time due to post I'd definitly regularly ring! I don't think i will do Mr if mine is a no because I physically don't have it in me to keep feeling like this! Xx

Just parking myself here to support you lovely lot.
Can't offer much advice as I'm new to all of it too, but I will try if I can. Just here wishing you all good news

Doymum · 07/11/2023 16:17

@MangoPepsiLover @Tmxx i think mine will be a decline, never applied before but my son has a few problems and was advised to do it. Since sending the application he was diagnosed with ASD and just last week had his ADHD assessment. He’s also been diagnosed with hyper mobility which is causing a lot of pain in his hands but not knowing how to film out the forms I didn’t put it down. I’m waiting for the reports and also adhd assessment to come back just Incase I need to do an MR. I just feel this is all taking so long and to be honest I’m still coming to terms with all his diagnosis’s I think I definitely had my head in the sand and just assumed my son was the “typical 3rd child the youngest etc etc” it wasn’t until he started a new school because we moved that the teachers kept calling me in 9 months later and here we are. Anyway sorry about that rant 😂

SENMUMSHA · 07/11/2023 16:17

heyyy! Been a watcher since summer. Scan date 6/7. Literally just woken up to a text informing me my son has been awarded , haven’t called them as of yet to find out the rates and I hardly sent any evidence in (nursery SEND information / last visit from paperwork) . Good luck to everyone waiting as these thread really kept me sane ❤️

@Doymum Hypermobility here to, severely in lower limbs, she doesn't walk far at all thats why Physio said to apply.

Also diagnosed Dyspraxia, and suspected dyslexia.

I have applied before and been rejected, so thats why I think it'll be a no. Also people on here who have DC I'd say are worse than mine getting a no.

Rebeccanew · 07/11/2023 16:26

Well done @SENMUMSHA ❤️ @Doymum @Tmxx surely has to be soon for us and k hope we all get the award we deserve for our children! But I feel you when it gets closer you just feel more decline don’t you! But I will do a MR most definitely if I do get declined xxxxx

Congratulations, this gives me hope. Same scan date, sent detailed sen reports from 2 nurseries, salt review for ehcp and other little bits xx

Doymum · 07/11/2023 16:29

@MangoPepsiLover i had never heard of hyper mobility before, my son struggles bad with his hands I can’t imagine how much worse it is in your lower limbs. Praying we all get what our children deserve

Doymum · 07/11/2023 16:33

I shouldn’t laugh but just had a text on my phone, I ran so fast I knocked the cat and my son flying only to find out it was a special offer from Pizza Hut 😂😂😂😂😂

Mumto2sengirlsxx · 07/11/2023 16:41

@MangoPepsiLover my daughter Just got accepted for her hypermobility, she scored 9/9 on Beighton scale but she's worse on lower limbs, elbows and hips... her spine also curves to the right and bladder issues. She just got HRC and LRM she also has suspected adhd and flat feet xxx

Tmxx · 07/11/2023 16:51

@Doymum that is amazing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 love that xxx

@Rebeccanew honestly the closer it gets the more I wonder why I even bothered applying because I'm so convinced now it's going to be declined! Xxx

SENMUMSHA · 07/11/2023 16:52

@Mumto2sengirlsxx We have flat feet to, on prescription insoles for them which I did include in the form but didn't have the prescription for them, they are mentioned by Physio though in her report I think.

Smallhall100 · 07/11/2023 16:56

Fightforlove · 07/11/2023 17:44

Hey! I’m new to posting but have been watching this thread like a hawk. This thread has helped me so much so I thought I’d share to give everyone who are still waiting some hope!

my scan date was 5/7
last text 2/10

got a text today to say he has been awarded! So grateful!

I sent in No evidence what so ever just filled out the forms and put my gps and health visitors phone number on if they needed any information from them….i have a 2.5 year old son who is non verbal and displaying autism characteristics, undiagnosed at the moment but gp has now made the referral since turning 2 and a half.

good luck to all waiting :)

Congratulations lovely. I've been on pins since finding out it's with a decision maker lol it's great you sent no evidence off and got awarded. Just goes to show they do read the forms and the more information you put in it the better. Will you be calling to find out rates or waiting for the letter? xx

Alasitsme · 07/11/2023 18:29

I'm tempted to call again tomorrow. Seems quick first thing, but of course that might be jumping the gun. What time is best to call later on?

Mummyrach13 · 07/11/2023 18:29

@Asdmummyhere i keep looking out for your updates, I think it’s worse once you know it’s with a DM mine was for nearly a week. Fingers crossed for a positive award for you xx

BoyGirlMomxox · 07/11/2023 18:32
