Thats ridiculous! My son has no diagnosis. I only attached his IEP which I got from the school SENCO
I'm sure they say when applying no diagnosis is needed..u should phone up and try appealing

@Tmxx yeah she’s before us I think they bloody just say anything on them phones to get us off the line haha I’ll cry if it’s back up to 19 weeks..I’m calling first thing then will again Friday then every 2 days till decision xxxxx

@Sskanf I was granted a holiday bonus of £500 off the family fund for my 2 sen children haven't used it yet though need to ring up and book potentially April time xx

I was sent an email asking for my bank details from family fund to receive the grant. Just thought I'd have got it by now

Hi, I posted on the other thread not realising there was a new one. What is the scan date? is it when I phoned for the forms or when I sent them back?

@Rebeccanew I hope so she turns 16 on the 13th so probably have to wait for pip don't know how it all works I've been told for years to apply for dla but just tried to deal with it myself but now she's got worse and more health problems

@Billie1993 I really hope it's any day now , called this morning but unfortunately it's not even been allocated yet to a dm! Was told it should be imminently , I'll be phoning back Friday. Sick of the wait now tbh. 🤞 Yours won't be too much longer either!

This week definitely seems to be going slow and also maybe it’s just me but not hearing many awards coming through. I’m waiting till I start seeing 7/7 being awarded then I will start panicking. I’m the 10/7 but the 8,9 was the weekend so I’m praying I hear the week I can’t do this much longer.

@Rebeccanew definitly slowed right down again! Was really hoping they would get up to roughly your date! Or if not the 10th at least was hoping they'd be at the 9th by the end of this week but doesn't seem like they will be! 🥲 xxx

@Doymum you are the same date as rebeccanew! Was hoping you 2 would be hearing by Friday so id know I'd be the start next week but I really don't think it's going to be the case with how slow this week is going xxx

@Tmxx the 8/9 are a weekend so surely they don’t scan in on those dates? So we should be after the 7th or does it not work like that?

@Asdmummyhere oh no that’s got to be a nightmare, did they give you any indication when you might hear? Are you the beginning of July?

@Tmxx @Doymum maybe may be the end the week it picks up I really do hope I think we’ve waited long enough now! I’ll be ringing tomorrow and then again Friday! I’m gonna keep on the case! But when I rang yesterday they did say I was so close to a decision maker and to keep checking bank etc I really hope our wait is over soon! Xxxx

No idea actually hun never thought of it like that! I know they are looking at claims on weekends but not sure now you've said that haha! I reaply really hope that's how it works because that means even sooner 🤞🤞xx

@Rebeccanew @Doymum @Tmxx yes I'm the 6th so 18 weeks on Thursday. I called last Thursday and was told another 2 weeks to be allocated. Called today because of all the awards yesterday and had a lovely lady who said it had been passed on to someone but no time scale. I'm going to call Thursday at 18 weeks and hope for the best xx

@Doymum you'd think that was the case because none get scanned on a weekend xx

@Doymum just mentioned the scan dates 08/07 and 09/07 was on the weekend so if you have your claim scanned 07/07 would the next date they work on be 10/07 after doing the 07/07 scan dates!?

@Tmxx i don’t think I’ve ever seen a weekend scan date, I honestly think they don’t scan on weekends

I'm not calling until the 18 week mark which is next Wednesday, but I think it's going to be a no for us anyway so I'm not holding my breath.

Post here is ridiculously slow, as in I got a letter dated end of September today so I'm not certain I won't miss MR deadline if I don't call.

100% they don't scab weekends so would have that nice jump from the 07/07 to the 10/07 being awarded!! I've seen on Facebook page 6th July getting a phone call yesterday from dm so hopefully 07/07 tomorrow being awarded then 10th Thursday!? 🤣🤣 am I getting ahead of myself! It's just all I think about I need a hobby to occupy myself xxx
