@Mummyrach13 hi hun, just rang UC they’ve fast escalated my backdating claim as they have forgot to put it through the system, I should of had payment off them last Monday. Just have to wait till 6pm tomorrow to see if it goes in or not x

I called friday and was told it was with a CM but she said it would take a few more weeks with them. The anxiety of waiting is horrendous!! And now I'm worrying that i might have to ask for MR! This system is so stressful!

Ah brilliant @StephanieCee how long did you wait for the DM to agree? Mines been 2 weeks but will hold out a couple more weeks before contacting them.

@Mumofasd3 yes the wait is horrible and so long. Sorry what is a CM? My scan dates 12/07 I phoned Friday and was told its not allocated anywhere and to call back next friday

@Tmxx after how many weeks did yours go to a DM

@Sskanf i believe its like a DM its a case manager. Im not sure how the difference affects the claim to be honest! Im just hoping to hear something by the end of the month xx

Hey @Sskanf scan date 11/07, rang thursday(09/11) wasn't with dm. Rang this morning was awarded Friday(10/11)

So in total 17 weeks and 3 days to reach dm and also have a decision xxx

11 days I waited for a decision which I thought was quick for UC but then haven’t heard nothing at all since they put it on my journal, I’d ring them to chase it up x

I have followed this thread for some time now, scan date was 12/07, I rang this morning, they said it was looked at over the weekend and declined. Although I know it doesn't go on diagnosis, they've said her needs etc are the same of anyone her own age. She is autistic and struggles with so much on a daily basis and in no way shape or form is on a level with her peers. Noise, crowds, daily living, anxiety, processing information, friendships, awareness. I am looking at doing an MR, I have already spoken to various people on gathering some more supporting evidence but I had to fight to get her assessed initially, the doctor told me he wasnt concerned. I went back with 2 a4 sides of traits, daily struggles and got referred to CAMHS and it was actually the lovely lady at camhs who did the referral for an Autism assessment as she saw those struggles. Wishing you all luck.

@82cem omg thats soo gutting so sorry to hear of your decline, definitely fight the decision made. My almost 4year old has all these struggles and currently under SEN still waiting for peadtrican appointment I have no hope now abd feel I may get a decline too. How old is your daughter

my other sons claim only took 12 weeks so cant believe these wait times

Does anyone know how long uc take to backpay my once they’ve sent you a decision letter?

Same date as me. I’m going to hold off until end of week- looks like 12/07 being awarded so I’d say end of week / early next week but going to keep an eye on here in the meantime x

@Mumofasdadhd my scan date is the same as yours I'm going to call tomorrow morning or Wednesday.

How long was it before someone initially replied to you when u put a note on your journal? x

@82cem Really sorry to hear this, I am in the same boat, my 13 year old has not got a diagnosis yet, she is on the waiting list for cams, this is gutting and my hope is gone, I will be doing an MR as my daughters needs are so high I have very little time to spend with my other kids, good luck with your MR and I wish you well x
