Following on from part 18
as there’s only around 30 comments left x

I’ve just called to check my additional evidence has been received- been told it will be with a DM at 18weeks… 3more weeks to go (hopefully)

I get what you mean but because the communication from DWP isn’t great, a lot of people take it upon themselves to call and see what’s happening.

If everyone consistently received a text to let them know if they’ve been awarded (or even a text to say the claim is a few weeks behind but will looked at soon) then I’m sure less people would call. When my son was awarded earlier this year, the letter took 5 weeks to arrive!

I only call to check if the claim has been received (both of my claims have been lost), additional evidence has been received and on week 18 to see what’s going on. I can understand why people call more frequently because the communication is absolutely shite

@Clairexdx it possibly could be usually they will try to contact you again, I've read that they can call upto 5 tines before they will leave a message, sometime they phone from a unknown number but sometimes could be a 0800 number! What is your scan date? Good luck!

Long time reader , this post has kept me sane for weeks now
My scan date 10/7
Called this morning , it's with a DM , she wasn't sure how long the DM had it but said any day now , she was really lovely and very helpful , she said as I had previously asked for a txt that I will get one as soon as a decision is made

12.07 - Not with a DM yet but she said it should be any day now because we’ve reached the timescale they expect it to be seen. She said they’re fairly quick at making decisions once it’s sent across so all being well it should be done by this time next week 😬

Most pointless call feeling deflated once again not sure why I'm doing this to myself 🤦‍♀️ was told my extra evidence has not been scanned on, was told that it can take up to 4 weeks, and that I should not worry as they are currently only on very early July dates and that mine will not be looked at until the end of this month, iv had enough not sure why we are all told different things

Just got off the phone. We have been been awarded! HRC - decision was made two days ago.

Scan date was 06/07
Last text was 02/10.
Did not receive the "qualified" text.

Good luck too all of those still waiting, if anyone has the same scan date as me - try and call :)

Nope, no text at all. If I hadn't have called then I wouldn't have known until I received the back payment. So so relieved

@Hardingcl was your last text date 16/10 aswell? 17/7 seems to be in a different pile there last text date was 9/10

@Mummyof5kiddos yeah my last tex was 16/10 I called Monday and the guy said it should be with a decision maker next week by 17weeks.

I sent 6 ieps reports, a ot appointment letter as that's all I had but in next few weeks I will have ot and ep reports and confirmation of referral onto adhd pathway. If needed for MR although I'm really hoping i won't need them 🙏

New here 🤚 I’m a little confused with how it all works my scan date was 12/9 so ages to go I know but when people are saying about 2 letters is this including the one with your scan date or 2 more after that thanks

@househead13 12.07 so few days behind you, I phoned last Friday and on Monday and got told will be end of this week or Monday, the wait is excruciating isn't it!!!x

@Toni1228 you get one with a scan date and then a further one a few weeks later and you usually get 2 texts aswell!

Thanks, I haven’t had any txt but have received 2 letters both in October. It’s all just so confusing sometimes as reading people from scan dates July only getting 2nd letter in October so didn’t know if to expect another one with only being 8 weeks in and having 2 already x

Im 14/7 was told today its just a matter of days now not weeks, looking at monday tuesday x

Am I the only one here still waiting from 6/7? Was told yesterday it was with a DM but the lady wouldn't tell me when it was sent to them 🙈 Debating whether to call again later but feel like I'm hassling them if I do! Does anyone know on average how long it can be with a dm? Most people seem to hear quite quickly from what I've seen.
