Congratulations on everyone’s awards today, finally I’m 17 weeks today, I’m going to try my best and hold out calling, knowing me I will prob be 1st on call Monday 9am 😂 I hope we hear something within this next week, fingers crossed for us all 🤞xx

Ladies can you get through without giving them ya kids NI number? Like a stupid arse I’ve lost the letter now with it on. Don’t wanna ring up and wait for hours if they can’t get into his account without it? Thank you

Oh my god just caught up on this as been busy all day! But wow seems what they have been telling everyone today has been really consistant compared to all the other times we've rang! Xxx

Hope it's ok to join. Can I ask what people mean by scan dates? If it's the date they received the claim mine was 18/5 and I rang today for an update to be told we've been declined and my letter is in the post. I'm fuming I've waited so long patiently to be told we won't be getting a penny!

My daughter has JIA and I really thought I was in for a good chance

@theworldhasgoneinsane I am no expert but have followed this thread for so long now... did you really go deep into the day to day difficulties your daughter faces and the care you have to give? From what I understand they tend to go based on day to day needs rather than a diagnosis etc go for a MR and go in heavy with everything your daughter and you are faced with xx

@theworldhasgoneinsane I called today scan date 13/7 they have told me to send in more supporting evidence asap so i am now thinking if i dont get this to them i will get a decline x

Does anyone know how long uc take to pay out pay back for carers element after you’ve reported the change?

My 2.5 year old son was awarded mrc after 17 weeks 😃

To be honest it was 7 months ago so I can't remember fully but I think so, although when I appeal I will go into it more. And things have changed aswell, she now needs support with physio etc so that's more time I spend supporting her

@Wildboysmum18 congratulations what was your scan date? I’ve seen a few people on here saying it’s been taking awhile. Have you entered into your journal and put it under payments?

Mine was put on the system 2 days after they recieved it.

My scan date was 5/7, my son was awarded on Monday 😄
I’ve changed that I’m caring for someone now?
Also, do we get just the carers element or do we also get the disabled child bit? It’s all so confusing xx

Scan date 27/7 praying for some news before the end of the month! I have 2 other children with asd and i cant remember it ever taking as long as it is now!! Congratulations to all who've had their awards ❤️

Same scan date as you here. I was told around the 27th for a decision fingers crossed. I'm fed up of waiting now it takes far to long.

A massive congratulations to all that’s been awarded today and to those that have also found out that’s it’s now with a DM, so is that all of 2/10 done now with the last text date? And now are moving onto 9/10. I’m so happy that a 10/10 is now with a DM 🥰

@Billie1993 So someone with a scan date of 10/07 got told today that it will go to a dm Monday, I got told it will be with a dm Tuesday latest and I'm 11/07 so hopefully that means you being 12/07 will be Wednesday 🤞🤞 xxx

This is what I have followed. U need to report a change for your child to get the disability element. Also put a note on your journal under payments asking for it all to be backdated from award date. I think it can take a while though.

@Mumma3girls and @Mumofasd3 scan date 27/07 and also txts 02/10 and 23/10. I was told week commencing 27th November both times I called. Into the final stretch of waiting now ladies … hopefully🙏🏻
