@Kelz23 ah okay, I'm not sure what else you can do. @PinkMoscatoLover helped me with mine.

Clairexdx · 08/11/2023 14:37

I’m currently on hold to get through lol. Iv tried calling today but kept getting cut off. Just read on fb they’ve been told 17.5 weeks. Let’s see what this one says 😉

Kelz23 · 08/11/2023 14:37

@BoyMumGirlMum2022 last time they didn’t reply with youngest I had to make complaint to get it looked at and then it was all sorted within 2 days. Xx

Tmxx · 08/11/2023 14:45

Just caught up on here after not looking all day and doesn't seem to have been many awarded! I expected more for today!

anyone still thinking of ringing or on hold keep us updated

@Clairexdx whats your scan date xxx

BoyGirlMomxox · 08/11/2023 14:52

Currently on hold as have the adhd and asd diagnosis and report come through which basically backs up everything I've said, sounds much better coming from psychologists and professionals surely they won't refuse DC with that 😭 x

NatalieAnn92x · 08/11/2023 15:00

Has anyone missed a call from the DM before? Do they phone back pretty quickly? Thankyou.

Clairexdx · 08/11/2023 15:06

Hi I’m 14/7 scan date. I gave up after 25 mins on hold as I’m on school run now. Might try tmw

RainbowZebraWarrior · 08/11/2023 15:09

@Tisms5 I wouldn't be too concerned. It's actually nice that the assessor recognised they didn't have enough time / it would have distressed you / you already had a lot of evidence. If you are currently at 10 weeks, I'd imagine you will hear soon as it's currently around the 12 week mark (for a decision)

Lodol · 08/11/2023 15:10

Hi everyone
my son is going to be referred for autism, he is 6 and I am considering applying for DLA.

the school are doing an ‘about me’ form through NBS and have put some things in place so are going to wait 8 weeks and then review and have a meeting with me to sign and refer so I shall have some documents to send off. I wondered how long after requesting the forms do you have to send them back?

also my other child has a disability and receives DLA, can only one child receive it?

thank you

Alybird77 · 08/11/2023 15:14

Hi @Clairexdx same date as me, I rung today. Got through after 1hr 25 min. Told it takes 17/18 weeks and I am in holding. If I don't hear anything by 20 weeks ring but, but I should hear by the end of next week.

NatalieAnn92x · 08/11/2023 15:17

Scan date 10/7
Cut off twice today after been on hole for over an hour.
I have 13 year old with spina bifida haven't claimed till now, hes due spinal surgery in January panicking we get declined back and forward to Alder hey is not cheap lol

Fightforlove · 08/11/2023 16:25

@Rebeccanew im based in the West Midlands. It was 5 weeks 1 day from last text. I sent no evidence I just highlighted in my form that he has seen a gp and multiple health visitors who have all seen my son’s autistic traits. My gp made a referral when he turned 2.5 to get an autism diagnosis. I attached phone numbers and names of gp/health visitors if the dla needed to speak to them as that’s all the evidence I have. Hope that helps :)

Rebeccanew · 08/11/2023 16:30

@Fightforlove thankyou for your reply…I did send evidence along with his go details etc..ohh I hate the wait when it gets so close lol 😅 xxxxxx

Doymum · 08/11/2023 16:35

Anyone know if they answer the phones after 5? Just trying to call now wondering if it’s to late?

BoyMumGirlMum2022 · 08/11/2023 16:38

@Kelz23 it will be difficult to get someone's attention without having a work coach. I was a lucky one who was due an appointment with mine as my little girl had just turned 1. So we did the COC at the f2f appointment which took me out of the looking for work category. Maybe worth giving them a call and stating dates and stuff. Especially if you've had to escalate things before.

Tmxx · 08/11/2023 16:38

@Doymum they keep you on until 5.30 so if you've been I'm hold a while id try it xx

@Rebeccanew I will keep you posted first thing xxx
