DLA wait times part 17.. (2023)

Following on from part 16…..

Mine went to a decision maker Friday morning and when I called this morning it was awarded. I'd call late tomorrow or Wednesday!

@BoyMumGirlMum2022 I found out on 12th October so reported immediately, they came back within a day or 2 (maybe even the same day 😂) regarding lifting the minimum floor income as I’m self employed. Other than that it did take up until last Friday when I got a letter added to my journal advised they would be paying the sept & Oct underpayment of the MFI into my account tomorrow. I did query why it was only 2 months when the award was from end of April. I’ll give it a few days and then query again especially as I’ve received that letter today

@Muva306 ah okay, so yours is different to mine then. As I'm out of work due to having a 1 year old.
The wait to have some feedback off them is now killing me.

How long from being awarded to getting back pay into your account . I was awarded on Friday and nothing has hit my account yet ?

Also, Iv applied for carers allowance does anyone know how long that takes to process ?

We’re getting there aren’t we. It feels painfully slow though 😂 The wait wouldn’t be half as bad if we knew for certain what date we would find out. It’s the uncertainty of it all plus the thought of having waited so long for it to be declined. Trying to remain positive but starting to second guess and doubt what I put on the form 🙈

The wait is soooo long, I’m so intrigued about this whole 5 week text thing. Scan date 10/7 second text 2/10. Im not going to call again until later next week but it seems to be dragging 😂

It was 5 weeks after my second text yesterday @Doymum so will see if a decision has been made x

@Doymum I was 5 weeks since last text yesterday and sadly no call/text to say we had been granted or declined, that's not to say it wasn't, but we wasn't made aware. I had high hopes for yesterday but sadly no news! Fingers crossed for you though, it does seem to happen for some!

@Mummyrach13 good luck, let us know how you get on 🤞 I’m leaving mine till Thursday/Friday because I don’t think my evidence is scanned on yet so I’ll probably be bottom of the pile

@MumofLou there seemed to be a lot of 29th June dates didn’t there so they may just have a bit bigger pile, hopefully they’re done by the end of the week when everyone will be past 18 weeks 😊 nearly there

Hey everyone am praying for the text today mine has been with dm since Wednesday/thursday I think 🤔 I rang Tuesday and wasn’t with dm then rang Friday morning and it was . Am 18weeks +4 🙈 scan date 23/06 really thinking it’s a decline now as not heard anythink. I am going to pluck up the courage to ring at some point this morning 🤞good luck everyone
