Ring them, add on child disability element. Tell them the rates of Dla and request it’s backdated to start of award. I’ve just done mine. And it’s normally sorted within a couple of days xx

@Mumtotwoboys121 my scan date is the 13th June, I rang today and it’s with a dm, I really hope I hear something tomorrow 🤞 I will update on here as soon as I know

I’ve been lurking for a while. Scan date 16/06. Seeing several people awarded today is making me a bit nervous to find out what our decision will be.

I can’t call until next week due to work, so I’m just hoping I get a text or surprise on the banking app before then!

My texts dates have been the same as others with the same scan date so again I’m hoping there’s not much longer to wait.

I’m 14/6 last I heard was with a decision maker last Wednesday

My scan date is 12/6 , the lady I rang yesterday gave me no info what so ever just told me to wait . She didn’t say if it was with a decision maker or anything.. I’ve never received any letters or texts .. I feel like ringing up again . Last time she asked me for the reference number but I’ve never been given one , It’s so stressful the wait x

I managed to get through to tax credits and guy was like oh your second person today with this just spoke to a lady who found out today and same rates as you.

I was thinking bet it's someone in the group 😂😂 might of been you

He just said couple of days it will take to get sorted and then I'll get a new award notice explaining payments etc

Really nice chap not what I expected anyway they are normally quite formal and robotic he wasn't. Also sounded like he was eating something 😂😂

Has anyone had more than 2 texts? Our scan date was 17/07, and I have had text messages on these dates…
8 Sept - 7w 4d
19 Sept - 9w 1d
9 Oct - 12 weeks

I am now driving myself crazy thinking I’m further ahead than I am! 🙈

The reference number will be on the acknowledgement letter they sent you about the claim. Xx

Hey, I’ve only had 2 text messages my scan date is 12-07

19th September- 9 weeks 6 days
9th October- 12 weeks 5 days.

do all your texts say the same thing ?

Your texts are the same dates as mine. Hopefuly we’re at least on track for 5 weeks after the last text - mid November.

No, the first one said “We've now got all the info we need to decide your PIP claim. We will send you a decision letter once we've made our decision. Please call us if any details you gave us have changed. Thank you.” So maybe that doesn’t count?

My scan date 18/7 , I've had 2 letters and 2 text , last tex was yesterday. Thinking mid to end of November for us xxx

Another sleepless night ahead, I’ve been reading many posts of declines on fb and now convinced we are gonna be declined. I never knew much about DLA or the forms when I sent it off and then since joining the groups I’ve seen a lot mentioned about how they worded the forms or had help to complete them! Example for timings of how long does it each task take with my child I put things such as all day or multiple times a day, consistently etc! Not time frames as in 1 hour etc! This is truly the worst wait ever and I am constantly saying if my boy is declined then it’s prob down to how I did the forms. Why am I like this! Ahhhh x

Can they update things over the phone for your claim my son has been officially diagnosed now and on meds since filling in the forms. If I ring them will they add these on for me? .My scan date is 27/7 so I've got a bit of time till it will be with the DM.

Scan date 15/6, nervous now as alot have head about their claims. Beginning to think my LO has been rejected and keep waiting on the postie sending through a big fat rejection letter.

@MelTom88 the wait is insane isn’t it! You could try calling them for an update ? Just to put your mind at ease a bit. I’m 20/06 and called Monday the woman said no updates yet & not with dm. Yours is probably more likely to be with dm because a lot of people on this thread have the same scan dates as you & they’ve been awarded. Best of luck to you ❤️

So after a sleepless night with both thinking about this claim and being up with the children I am not going into work today. My head is in bits , I’m going to call at 9am and hopefully have an update x
